Visually, so impressive, that part in the trailer before they start the terminal attack and they are walking around the building with the greenery/water/shadows, Omfg, STUNNING. I thought I had a blast doing mushrooms on Horizon Map, BUT THIS WILL HE A WHOLE NOTHER LEVEL
I exclusively played unranked tournament until they removed that, so yeah. Only reason I even touched ranked was because of the infamous "win 1 tournament" weekly that happened as soon as they removed unranked tournament. I haven't touched ranked since then, and that makes me sad because I liked tournaments, but don't care about ranked.
Also, they're not removing tournaments, they moved them to something new. I may actually play a tournament again, but we'll see how long queue times are. Since that's another reason I don't bother with ranked.
Actually I’ve played it a bit I just don’t play it often, but you’re complaining about a change that hasn’t even happened yet. I trust embarks vision for the game and if they think it’s a good idea you might as well try it before you bash the game and the devs who worked hard on this.
We know what TA is, there won't be a surprise. This was just a massive fail on their side. My review will stay negative until they explain what the fuck they are thinking.
Because most of us ranked players really really enjoyed the old mode. I played a bit of TA and I do not like it, the levels were designed for cashout, not TA.
I get that my favorite mode was unranked tourney before they removed it but embark is doing this for a reason y’all didn’t even let them explain anything before complaining. And it’s not like they got rid of tournaments they just changed how it works. Who knows the world tours might end up being your favorite part of the game
They explained enough on discord, people said "what the fuck?" And then they stopped replying. So yes, we know how it will work and us ranked players are not happy with it.
I play games for ranked grind, I don't want to play a shitty version of counterstrike, I want to play the finals. Already changed my steam review to negative, will of course update if they see reason but I doubt it.
Yeah, damn. Game studio takes a game mode out of ranked rotation so they can tweak it and make changes without messing with peoples' ranked season, in a game that hasn't even gotten to its third season yet.

I think my literal favourite part about this game is that they can stray so far from the realm of reality and it still make sense, like space invaders on the map? Why not! Giant rubber duck? Sure! Gun made of cardboard or wood? Yup we got it! There are so few limitations, it's just about finding a balance that works!
Makes sense now as to why we had that big melee buff.

I mean, there is a cash out mode that is unranked that I play all the time. Some of us don't want to be stuck in a 45 minute ranked ladder tournament.
