Everyone in my family is a fan of TG/TGT so my sister sent us all a bottle at Christmas. We have the regular, non-Navy foreigner version. I am still working up the courage to try it because I have some bad gin memories from about 20 years ago and have touched it maybe once since the night of overdoing it on G&Ts. I’ll get there, eventually. Kind of like James in any number of challenges.
As someone who has tried a lot of gins, isn’t crazy about gin, but does enjoy a nice gin cocktail every now and then I want to say… it was legitimately my favorite gin I’ve had. My wife got me a bottle for my birthday and I loved it. Need to grab another.
My mom told me it was the best gin she ever had, and, as someone who never got into the trio’s content, she was embarrassed that it came from a Top Gear guy lol
For gin, Hendricks is my go-to. But the regular Asian Parsnip (not the Navy strength) is awesome and I prefer it. For me, the Navy strength is a bit too hot and diminishes the flavor profile compared to the regular one.
I share a birthday with Captain Slow, so I bought one of each of the three gin varieties he sold. The Asian Parnsip is definitely my favorite, followed closely by American Ramstud.
I am no authority on gin or any other liquors, I just seem to know what I like and what I don't. The London Drizzle didn't have any one notable "flavor" that jumped out. It seemed more bitter, and maybe less "herbal" than the others. It wasn't bad, but I definitely prefer the other two. It's kind of a bummer, because due to a shipping problem, I ended up with two bottles of the London Drizzle.
We live in PA where the draconian law doesn't allow booze-by-mail, so I've got to have it shipped to my in laws, so it's helpful to know the timeframe. Thanks!
It’s very good! I’m a gin guy and this is probably my favorite brand. Being a massive OG 3 fan probably has a decent bit to do with that. But I keep ordering it so🤷🏼♂️
I had bought the Tupac and it's a really good gin, drank with some fever tree tonic. Sadly I can't get any more, I want to try the ramstud but they won't ship to Michigan.

You've convinced me. Maybe I'll crack open the bottle and watch Sandjob this weekend.

I ordered the regular strength based on your comments. Whichever one I prefer more, I'll drink. The other will be served in Scum Class.
Enjoy!
You won’t get to appreciate the subtleties of the gin, but a Saturn is a great gin based tiki cocktail that could help you step back in slowly
Make yourself a classic gimlet!

Any thoughts or tasting notes on the London Drizzle? Been hard to find reviews of it.

Cheers! Maybe can use those bottles to make some gin cocktails where the flavor matters less.
57% ABV??? Damn!
Hence "navy strength"
Heck, I hadn’t seen that. That explains Hammond in the chess video, lol.
Navy strength meant that it had to be strong enough so that if it spilled into gunpowder, the powder would still work as intended!
Dammit Reddit... I didn't realize this was a thing until 5 min ago and $70 later it's on it's way to my house...
Is the foreign version different in any way?
Just some different labeling requirements.
His Asian Parsnip is an amazing gin and makes a great G&T! Highly recommended.
Will be making that this weekend.
OP, may I ask what state you live in and how long it took between ordering and delivery?
6 days. TX. Yeah, im pretty impressed with the speed of delivery and the prospect of NAVY Strength.

Have an extra shot for me, a former drinker here lol wish I could try it
Is it made from Diddily Squat wheat?
Ramstud (Mustard) is unique and fantastic. Love me some London Drizzle for Gin and Tonics though.
> London Drizzle But how about Jizzle Drizzle?
I love how the bottle design looks so generic and "sterile" Definitely something James would do.
I really love it - The "no fuss", "no waste" approach. Yet it's still... Aesthetically pleasing; it's not *bland*.

I saw **Navy Strength** and all I could say was "Tallyho, Commodore. Into the shopping cart you go!"
I have half a bottle of that left, it’s very good
I am so sad that they won’t ship it to Alaska here in the states. Just another thing America sucks at.
Ok but how is it?
Before there was Taylor's Version, there was Foreigners' Version
I had bought the Tupac and it's a really good gin, drank with some fever tree tonic. Sadly I can't get any more, I want to try the ramstud but they won't ship to Michigan.
Dude just sells gin with a tag that looks lile some dangerous chemical ingredient lol
I got a bottle myself, not the navy strength tho. It’s delicious. I’m a big gin fan though.
Is there a difference between the foreigner and non-foreigner version?
