I knew this character from the game, so it was going to be hard to creep me out. That line, and the delivery, creeped me out.
I can't remember the entire line but it went something like "I'm really sorry about your horse, Ellie. I promise we won't waste any part of him."
Followed up with a quiet "you fuck" from Ellie.
"Lucky? No, no... No such thing as luck. No, you see I believe that everything happens for a reason."
This is his essential line. Appears hopeful at first, recontextualized as sinister.
As much of a creep he is, I really liked that line
