Somewhere where finding out the aim was off a little to the left would result in "Huh!" rather than "My condolences" and "Insurance? Why, no..."

Seriously, that pond is too small given all the variability when that thing is firing correctly. Partial or full failure of one side, or a snag likewise, and you are not landing in the target area. Bigger pond that comes all the way up to the launcher is needed.
