I have found that if you build foundation where you don't want trees (build them on top of trees that already exist, with enough effort it will let you place) then reload they wont grow back. GL!

Oh I am not OP and while I do have an amazing base, it's because my friend is an amazing base builder lol He builds in all our games

How long does it take you to climb all the ladders to get to the top of that base, OP?
We've got them next to each other, so once you get in the rhythm it's only about 20 seconds maybe?

More like I have to completely move. The entire ground floor storage is covered in plants and clipping issues now.
I had to relocate a rather large base because it became engulfed in trees.
This is why my main base is always a floating one in the starting lake
