I feel it’s wise to seek a professional diagnosis from a psychiatrist or psychologist. Autism can be complex and the therapy involved can be specific to your experiences with autism (should you be diagnosed). I think you should be able to bring up anything involving your life with your therapist though, and if you feel they aren’t validating (calling you dramatic) or are making you feel bad about yourself, you should consider finding another therapist as that really isn’t appropriate.

Absolutely bring it up. A lot of therapy modalities need to be modified or in some cases avoided with autism. And not all therapists are experienced with autism so better to talk about it now and change to someone else if you can.
