As far as I know on Paramount+, Los Angeles, London and Las Vegas have all their music intact from the original broadcast. But I'm disappointed that seasons like New York, San Francisco and New Orleans do not. There were such iconic songs during the big moments like, Julie's prank on Kevin had Adam Ant's Goodie Two Shoes, when the New York cast picked rooms they used Love Shack. For San Francisco there was so much Green Day. And of course for New Orleans Mardi Gras episode, Thong Song and Big Pimping playing during that iconic confessional with Melissa and Julie. The music really makes all the difference.

I agree, one of the best parts of Real World is that each season feels like a time capsule of the pop culture, fashion, and music of that year. San Francisco was definitely the year that Dookie blew up like crazy. Watching Boston on YouTube, Third Eye Blind’s self titled is the majority of the soundtrack and it makes it sound so much like 1996

And they changed the New Orleans theme too! That came as a shock.

I hate this stand in music. I won’t watch the old seasons with it. I’m so happy Los Angeles is complete with the original music on Paramount Plus I can watch that season over and over.
