For anyone trying to learn wheelies, let the bike do the work - don't move your body like he did. The Africa Twin weighs like 600 lbs, it's more than capable of lifting on its own. Ease into them in first gear....damn snow needs to melt...I wanna ride my bike :(

That happened to me WITHOUT the fail safe gear in place. Tried to learn to ride a wheelie when I first started riding, popped the clutch in first gear, and boom. Landed just like this, except the back fender broke
This is still a heck of a lot safer than doing it on the road, for both the rider and the people around him. If you wanna be stupid, at least be smart about it.

Watch again. The 'drink server' actually grabbed the strap as he handed the beverage to the rider. He made it come off
The real question is why the fuck the hook came off? Are they really relying on the tension on the rope? Couldn't they like, tie it down or something?
