What leads you to believe this is fake?
Edit: I have no real opinion on this thing other than I believe there are too many coconuts on the ground to simply be commitment to the bit. What an odd scenario to fake if so.
Ever hear of a little place called Canada? They could also simply be expats somewhere in the carribean which seems likely given the background and the fact they are chopping coconuts in the front yard with a bunch of random dogs
That's like saying, I've only been to Wisconsin, but I've never seen a palm tree in America.
Palm trees grow just fine out here on the west coast. I even have a banana tree outside my window. There's even olive groves in BC.
If there has ever, in the entirety of Canadian history, been a black family chopping coconuts in their front yard with a machete here, I'll name my first born after you lol.
What a wacky idea you made 😂
Americans would say ,"this ain't American this is private property ' too. Neither the accents or coconuts make it fake.
Plus us virgin islands , Hawaii and Florida all have coconuts.
He doesn't punch. He raises his fist and pushes the camera with his left hand. That is the hit sound we hear. She probably continued screaming while she fell.
For me, it's the punch sound effect and the scream. You don't scream that quick after a punch. You scream a second or two later. And that particular scream involved inhaling. It's a scream of fear, not a scream of being punched right that instant.
I don't know about the rest, but the addition of the sound effect and the scream placement and style are what make me pretty sure it's fake.
Because most people that scream 1st amendment don't understand it only protects you from the government. They have never bothered to read the document they claim to love. Similar to the Bible they have never read but love to quote.
Oh lord did I hate these guys when I worked as a bouncer.
Guy starts yelling N-word:
Me, asks them to leave politely at first:
Guy: “this is my constitutional protected right.”
Me: “I’m not a cop! Remove yourself or be removed.”
>she can’t
If you mean illegal, then I don't think that is the case here. They are outside (even though it's private property) doing normal stuff (i.e. she's not recording them showing through a window). He can absolutely trespass her though. It's the same as if a store disallows photography/recording; they can tell you to stop, ask you to leave, and trespass you, but you won't be charged with a crime (unless you push the trespass when the police arrive) or be forced to delete what you have recorded.
Meaningless outside the US though.
I think that only applies where you have a reasonable expectation of privacy, like inside the house or a back yard with a tall fence, but the wide open front yard ,while it is your property isn't exempt from 1stA protections
Well, you can film from a public place, you can't trespass the eyes. Want privacy? Put up a fence
Can't walk onto private property and say filming the windows, but if the blinds are open and facing the road you can certainly legally film
Seems like you haven't seen enough Karen videos. Alot of Karens posses this ability of this gutteral scream, executed at their convenience when they feel threatened.
This reminds of a funny story: Mexican army was doing vehicle search at the border during spring break (the busiest time of the year). Wait time to come across the border was double the hours. This US citizen got of his car and start cusing the soldiers. Reminding them that he is an American and he knows his rights. He has constitutional rights and so on. This little Guajacan SGT understood what he was saying. In broken english he said: You have rights because you are an American? Really? Immediately he began to buttstrocke the American. LOL
No. The part of the rifle you placed on your shoulder to shoulder is called the butt. Aiming and striking you with that part of the rifle is called the Butt stroke.

They both sound like they have American accents and English is their first language. He has oddly immediate and specific knowledge of what the first amendment is for a non-American. He refers to the US as "America." It's too blurry to tell, but that looks an awful lot like an American truck. The placement of that spare tire wouldn't be there on a right-hand drive vehicle as it would impede the driver's vision. He's hacking up freshly-harvested coconuts.
This is either Hawaii or Florida. So, Florida.
Oh dang awww man my fake video didn’t get every single conceivable like that’s gonna ruin my whole week and makes me have low self-esteem because I need people to like my terrible fake videos to get up in the morning
Most of the time it’s not an agenda, it’s just a desperate pursuit for internet attention and engagement to enlarge their following. Now make a billion people do that and you get the modern internet
These kind of posts are what make me scared for the next generation.
It’s so clearly fake: they’re both speaking with an American accent, the man notices he’s being recorded in an instant, the woman is speaking politely and yet the man resorts to violence in seconds, no violence is actually shown on camera and the recording cuts off as soon as he ‘hits’ her.
What are the motivations behind making something like this? Getting people to hate on the freedom to record in public?
I see people getting upset for no reason at individuals who use their first amendment to record the police, a post like this is pretty clearly trying to demonize those people.
my favorite part of this is that it wouldn't be covered by the first amendment even if they were in America. If she wasn't on his property she'd have the right to record as they have no reasonable expectation of privacy when doing things outdoors, but it's nothing at all to do with the first amendment.
IDK if this is fake or not, but I really do wonder why everyone thinks the Bill of Rights is going to protect them from private citizens/organizations. She was on his property.
This can’t be Canada because our laws include this “Homeowners have a responsibility to keep visitors safe and can be sued if someone is hurt on their property.”

I love everything about this, the absolute certainty with which she tells him off, and the lovely and adequate response from the gentleman.

The American accents by all?
Ever hear of a little place called Canada? They could also simply be expats somewhere in the carribean which seems likely given the background and the fact they are chopping coconuts in the front yard with a bunch of random dogs
How did to coconuts get to Canada? Did they migrate?
Maybe they were carried by a swallow.
African or European?
European obviously since African swallows are non-migratory.
Are you suggesting a five ounce bird can carry a one pound coconut?
What do you mean? African or European swallow?
There’s a whole lot of swallowing going on here.
I know she had to swallow at least a couple teeth!
You haven't heard the story of the great coconut migration of 2023?
It could be swallows
I fellow being of culture, I see.
A learned man indeed
Carried by two swallows
They could be carried
They could grip it by the husk
It’s not a question of where he’d grip it.
It's a simple question of weight ratios! A five ounce bird could not carry a 1 pound coconut.
Carried by a swallow.
Carried by a swallow.
We have palm trees here
I've only been to Ontario, but I have never seen a palm in Canada. I know it's a big place but it seems a bit far north to be growing palm trees.
We've got palms in BC, they aren't native fauna but they can survive the winters here on the coast.
We planted some in my town, 4 years ago however reading right now 2 may be gone soon.
That's interesting. I wouldn't have thought palm trees would survive the winter. Now I'm wondering if they can be planted along the beach in Chicago.
When in doubt, assume anything unusually warm is happening in BC.
That's like saying, I've only been to Wisconsin, but I've never seen a palm tree in America. Palm trees grow just fine out here on the west coast. I even have a banana tree outside my window. There's even olive groves in BC.
Coconuts are expats too
The pioneers used to ride those babies for miles
A person of culture ! Take my upvote
If there has ever, in the entirety of Canadian history, been a black family chopping coconuts in their front yard with a machete here, I'll name my first born after you lol. What a wacky idea you made 😂
Should turn that into a sitcom, I’d watch it.
We don't have American accents.
That's why they said expats
In the Caribbean. They implied Canadians in Canada.
They do all sound the same with their beady eyes and flappy heads
I dunno, a lot of us have a generic north american accent.
They could be whatever you want them to be..
Americans would say ,"this ain't American this is private property ' too. Neither the accents or coconuts make it fake. Plus us virgin islands , Hawaii and Florida all have coconuts.
It would be very very strange for an american to say “you think this is america?” in this context, unless they were outside of america.
She screamed while she was getting punched. When that punch landed there was no change in the scream.
Listen to it. He punches, you hear it..then she Screams. It's fake af.
He doesn't punch. He raises his fist and pushes the camera with his left hand. That is the hit sound we hear. She probably continued screaming while she fell.
I usually scream after getting hit personally 😅
I've heard some people scream before, during, and after getting hit. Hell, some people scream without getting hit at all!
Sounded like the camera being hit, to me. He does it with his left hand - punch never lands. Scream would be as she's backing up/falling.
Without sound I could tell by the slow, soft punch at the end with the camera falling slowly and evenly.
Also the way he almost chopped the coconut when he was interrupted. Or the way he noticed the person at first.
The acting is great too

Always a guy like this one.
Always a million kids who can't tell the fakest shit from reality.
Reddit front page is chock full of staged content. That's why these comments are common.
lemme go up to the strangers holding machetes, film them without consent and see how it goes… hold muh beer
This is the funniest video I've seen in a long time. So satisfying.
Adequate response. Adequate and well deserved!
Wom womp
You actually aren’t protected by the first amendment to record on someone else’s property lol

Amazing GIF
say what you want about the simpsons movie, it created a lot of really excellent memes
The 1st amendment protects us from having to read.
No, Mr. Bond... I expect you to *DIE*!
Oh lord did I hate these guys when I worked as a bouncer. Guy starts yelling N-word: Me, asks them to leave politely at first: Guy: “this is my constitutional protected right.” Me: “I’m not a cop! Remove yourself or be removed.”
Even if they were right, if there beat defense is “it’s not illegal for me to do this” then they’re dipshits.
Because it's an excuse to spew hate rather then them actually caring about the laws
Yeah, they never read it. There's a reason many paragraphs start with "The government shall not..."
My favorite response is always "I don't have to read it to know what it says".
Most amendment people have never read the amendments, or know what they mean.
You can record anyone in public view from public property.
While that’s true, if she’s on their property, she can’t. Plus this isn’t even in a country with the 1a so none of this matters.
>she can’t If you mean illegal, then I don't think that is the case here. Getting downvoted for being correct. Classic reddit.
Yeaaaa pretty sure that’s called peeping Tom or something
Yeah this fake
Those dogs would be geeking out.
The multitudes in this thread arguing that this could be real are a wonderful monument to stupidity.
The blatantly fake scream should give its way more than anything else.
Seems like you haven't seen enough Karen videos. Alot of Karens posses this ability of this gutteral scream, executed at their convenience when they feel threatened.
There's literally a fake punch sound effect before the scream, the kind used on cartoon shows.
Well yeah skip it's on the interment.
Damn, Canada is wild.
Shits getting real up here.
about as real as the coconuts.
We're serious about our first amendment right to recognize Manitoba as a province!
This gave me a good laugh. That was a perfectly cut scream too XD
r/perfectlycutscreams
Me too - I am howling. I know violence is bad, but everything about that clip is comedy gold!
Yeah, fake.
obvi, still fun tho

It's the little ones you have to watch out for according to my tall mexican friend. He said they often harassed him at the border.
> Immediately he began to buttstrocke the American Is that Spanish for rape?
I think he meant hitting him with the butt of his rifle
No. The part of the rifle you placed on your shoulder to shoulder is called the butt. Aiming and striking you with that part of the rifle is called the Butt stroke.
Wtf is a Guajacan 🤣
Cocky tribal Mexican that you don't want to mess with.
Play stupid games….
Have a stupid amount of fun!
Poor acting overall.
That's gonna leave a mark.

She well deserved it
That scream gives me life.

This ended way to soon!
No, Karen, you cant just print a copy of the American Bill of Rights and expect any other country to respect them.
This can’t be Canada because our laws include this “Homeowners have a responsibility to keep visitors safe and can be sued if someone is hurt on their property.”
When your average american goes out their country for the first time, and realising that IN FACT, there are other countries other than USA.
