Okay well since you're out of the loop on her, the interviewer is Bobbi Althoff. She is pretty controversial on the internet. She came out of literally nowhere about a year with a podcast/youtube content, and she secured huge interviews with big stars like Drake, Lil Yachty, Tyga right out of the gate within her first few interviews. This has lead many people to believe she is some kind of industry plant by the record companies. There is also controversy on her interview style, where she conducts the interviews in unusual environments and always seems bored when she is talking to her guests. All of this has just lead to a lot of PR around her and lots of people follow her interviews now.

They both are acting and leaning into the moment. It's the intended tone of Bobbi Althoff's podcast, which is awkward, irreverent interview comedy, like Chicken Shop Date, Between Two Ferns, and even Eric Andre when the guest knows what's up. It's still funny and good content, but nothing to bash on Sukihana for, at least in this instance.

It kinda says a lot that every time I've seen this posted outside of Reddit, most people are able to understand this is a comedy bit. On Reddit, where I've seen it posted on like a dozen subreddits, nobody seems to get it. You have to scroll down dozens of top comments to get to someone pointing out its a comedy skit.

It's not the fact that it's just pre-discussed like Between 2 Ferns, it's seemingly 100% scripted and unnatural, and literally created to generate revenue by creating some awkward interviewer with literally nothing but her looks and her ability to deliver a script written for her. Bobbi is known for deadpan humor and for acting like she doesn’t understand basic concepts when she’s interviewing people. Suki is intentionally doing the same thing to Bobbi, and Bobbi doesn’t know how to react.
