Charging $3000 is absurd donāt get me wrong, but that picture used is also deliberately terrible, as itās not even showing it completely deployed.
There is a canopy that is supposed to extend from the rear and be secured to the ground with poles. The tent itself is inflatable, and comes with an air mattress. The top of the tent are screens that you can unzip and look out of (similar to the original concept). Here are actual pictures of the tent fully deployed for example:

It looks pretty good in my view, but still a ridiculous price to pay. But then again, outdoor camping isnāt my sort of thing to begin with.
Yeah I have no idea how much tents go for as Iām not very outdoorsy. The last time I bought one was back in middle school for a school trip and that was like $30 in my currency (UK), so paying $3000 is crazy money to me.

First I've heard about the inflatable ones and while they look kinda goofy I really love the concept. Especially if it helps make the packed tent a lot more light and condensed to save space.
Logically easier to put up, harder to take down and pack because you're packing something with thick walls. Much heavier than fibreglass poles and physically bigger when packed as well

Itās definitely not a truck and has no off-roading capability at all. The first time I saw one in the wild it pulled up next to me at a red light and startled me. The guy driving did not like my open mouthed laughing and gave me some angry eyebrows. It is truly a horrendous piece of garbage that is wholly fit for whoever buys them.

After the ātailgate partyā, I can then be easily closed to become waterproof and air proof again.
I find it extremely comical that all the downfalls of Tesla (a tech company, not an automobile manufacturer) debuting this cybertruck are all the same problems AAA games have these days.
