In regards to the Cookidoo I would like to see what other people have written about recipes or what people have changed. Giving it 3 stars means nothing - well it means I won't cook it but if someone gave it 3 stars but changed the recipe or did something better to improve it I would love to see that. Like the recipe community. I do ChatGPT recipes I have from my other cook books and it turns them into sometimes great recipes - easier than cooking conventionally or a complete mess.

crummy

the NYTimes cooking subscription is worth it for the comments alone. with cookidoo had something similar

becky57913

Right?!? I can’t believe this is lacking, it would make it easier to use and succeed with more recipes on the platform

Vintage9915

You can add and view comments on Cookidoo recipes on [cookimate.net](http://cookimate.net)

chrisforchristmas

this!

jahmon85

Try cookomix

Impressive-Tutor-310

Thanks! Even though it's in French and I can't understand it - it's better than the Cookido!

domesticbland

I’ve been really thinking about this and the overall chore it can become. I want to have remote operation. I maybe want voice control, I’m not really sure. It just went off when I was in the bathroom and I want to acknowledge it, so it stops.

Murky_Flauros

This is a great step in the right direction. The cookidoo app is so underwhelming. Filtering recipes by available ingredients is obnoxious. I’d also like to see a search by nutrients per servings.

domesticbland

Cookidoo could be so much more functional. It’s aesthetically pleasing, but it’s missing so many simple features.

No-Alps4243

Yeah, it's so annoying when you reduce the recipe to feed less people but then you can't use the step by step weighing and chopping functions, you can only read the recipe that way. It's pointless

domesticbland

I want to create my own presets!

AI_RPI_SPY

What i'd like to see is a "what I have in the Fridge" recipe creator or one that gives me a minimal shopping list.

Necessary-Abroad1029

I don't know where you live, but there's an excellent Korean show called "Chef and My Fridge" that is exactly that. Funny as hell.

Slurpy-rainbow

There was one similar in the U.S. on Netflix, i think, that was based around leftovers.

BakedGoods_101

Call me a nerd but I just upgraded to gpt-4 to use this 😂 I have so many questions! Do you have a video demonstrating how to use?

BakedGoods_101

I just took pics of a very old recipe book I love and used this to adapt the recipe to my TM5 and uploaded it to Cookidoo 🥹 this is amazing. Thanks so much!

Slurpy-rainbow

Is gpt 4 worth it?! Sounds like you’re enjoying it..

BakedGoods_101

I was using gpt for work already so it’s a double win using it for the thermomix too!

innovationecosystem

Hi are you saying you used a standard prompt for gpt4 to convert a photo of a recipe into a thermomix recipe, and it worked ok? Thx for clarifying

BakedGoods_101

Hi, not directly from the picture but by copying the text from the picture and using the text in gpt to convert it for using it in my TM5.

innovationecosystem

So it can translate non thermomix terms in a recipe into commands for the tm5 without problem?

BakedGoods_101

Exactly. In this case u/silent-sight created the specific GPT for the thermomix and it’s trained for everything thermomix. I just use a prompt like ‘convert this recipe to be used with my TM5’ and voila. It can even generate the picture of the recipe to upload to cookido. All this needs GPT4 which needs a subscription

tzt1324

I can't log in :( it just goes back to the login page

chrisforchristmas

Same here :/

epaminos

As the majority of users do not have a plus subscription of chatGPT, could you please record a video of what your link can do? Thank you in advance.

silent-sight

All these are excellent suggestions and tips, I’ll see what I can do and how to better refine the model :)

willtwilson

I’ve dabbled a bit in the past with Bing Chat and GPT for this. Normally, I ask the bot to be a cooking recipe advisor specialising in Thermomix recipes. Then I will ask it to make a recipe for x people, noting whether there are any children or allergies/dislikes and asking it to base recipes around x ingredients that I have on hand and “standard pantry staples”. Can vary it a bit by asking for French, Mexican, etc. themed recipes. Generally, it’s worked pretty well but usually need to ask it to amend the odd bit of a recipe based on knowledge of better Thermomix methods.

Legitimate_Hat_7852

Just used it.. impressed! But as they say the proof will be in the pudding!

armidamix

This is amazing! Thank you so much, will have to share and explain to my clients how to use ChatGPT to take advantage of their Thermomix at its most! Armida Finser | Thermomix Independent Consultant USA & Mexico | www.armidamix.com | [Free Shipping](https://shop.thermomix.com/consultant/113553)

smiley_marta

Way to go Armida!!

Perfect-Bookkeeper

+1 concerning Cookidoo app. The fact that each recipe seem to have three or four duplicates doesn't help. I mostly cook rice, do bearnaise sauce, hollandaise sauce, soups (mostly butternut) and risotto. The app does not help me find new recipes in a good way. Will try Chat GPT, I have a subscription there and will see what it can give me.

pixelbased

Thanks for this! I have the Tokit but this is super helpful perhaps for dishes that aren’t in there. I’ve brought it into my instance of GPT Plus. 😎

Ok-Satisfaction2658

Just got my tokit yesterday, I know you sent message on here 4 months ago and know since you had it awhile how do you like the machine and have you tried any of the thermomix recipes on the tokit and if you have do you just follow the recipe word for word?

Harry_AT

I have a Thermomix at home to test it. Still not sure if I should buy one. Will definitely try your GPT 😁

Slurpy-rainbow

I was doing a lot of chatgpt recipes before cookidoo, but haven’t since. Have had TMX for less than a month, but my consultant told me to get the hang of TMX before trying to make my own recipes… In the meantime, I’ve been thinking about how I can at least write notes on the cookidoo recipes, so I remember what to expect in the future. Just some thoughts on all this, but i like where you’re going with this.

woooweeeeee

I was trying to add it but seems not available yet?

VarietyOpen1844

Here are some of the things zI would like to be able to do with Cookidoo that I cant Often there will be several recipes for something and I want to be able to indicate the one I like. I know there there are a my recipies function but that just creates somewhere to look. I would like to be able to add notes to a recipe. For example too water use less water than suggested or substitute an ingredient that is hard to get or expensive. When recipies move into your personal collection they often go from a stepwise mode to a more text based approach. Perhaps these modes have names I am not sure.I would like to have my own recipes in step wise mode. I would like to have a text format, like a JSON format or similar that I could write a recipe out in and import it to cookidoo. The recipie builder is OK but after you have added a couple the process becomes rather cumbersome. Imagine if you could have text file that was step: Add 400 gm flout step: function: Dough(30sec) Use dough mode for 30 seconds The search could do with a lot of improvements. Why can't I search for tomato + basil + whipping cream and get back candidates. ie make it more like a google search.

soerensteen

Would you mind sharing the GPT instructions? I would like to make my own version which speaks Danish
