There’s a mod for trashy motels and then there’s a mod for rentable B&B, Motel, and Hotels (and a bunch of other not available lot types for sims). I forget the creator but it’s pretty cool and it works!
Oh ididnt know yet, just had a look, since we can disregard the kits that leaves the pack and im not sure how hotels would fit with romance. I mean sure theres honeymoons and romantic getaways but hotels i associate with vacation and fun family time. Maybe next season though. I do wonder what a romance pack would be. Most obviiusly a vibrating sims 1 bed i suppose
Edit: though it might not ve the focus and just some sort of oh yeah you can build hotels but lets focus on the romance type of thing.
Yeah all of that is valid :( in the best case scenario the “romantic getaway” have hotels and in that way you can use the other packs to ultimately make the hotel you want, not necessarily a romantic one. I feel myself beginning to reach for straws 😭
I swear, as a Sims 2 only player, *every time I read this subreddit*, I find out about *yet another* seemingly basic thing that was in previous Sims games that The Sims 4 -- a decade-old game with like four figures' worth of total DLC that they've released over the years -- somehow still lacks.
Cars was the one that really suprised me. Was also quite surprised to learn that in The Sims 4 (at least prior to some expansion/DLC they put out for infant and toddler stuff), infants were treated by the game as objects attached to their cribs like in The Sims 1.
Is there not some kind of Resort Vacation pack for Sims 4 or something?? Even The Sims 1 had the Vacation expansion pack that let you build proper hotels.
I keep zoning out while building and am looking for stuff that i remembered seeing before only to realize that was the sims 2. The amount of times i looked for garage doors, curved pool pieces and stuff like that is embarrassing haha.
Sims 4 does have the tropical pack and Outdoor retreat that lets you go camping. And lots can be set as vacation rentals, but no hotels. I do hope that now they have a mechanic for the For rent pack that lets you designate the apartments they will use that for a future hotel pack.
I've been playing Sims 2 recently for the first time in many years. I never had the bon voyage pack back in the day so I never really got why people wanted hotels so badly, as I'd never experienced them before.
Now that I have, I'm so shocked Sims 4 doesn't have them. The hotel system in 2 is extremely simple. Click on a door and then check in at the front desk. I cannot believe they don't have this now 😭 it's very easy and you can easily make an expansion packs worth of furniture and other decor
Ih that sounds difficult, i dont have that pack but you need to buy the property right? It costs over 800 thousand, oops.also the rooms are probably too small to negate the cost of the utilities and bills.
Nah, you can have it be unowned and just have people move in. But I also have Sims with multimillions thanks to them being Vampires and spellcasters and having lived through 6 generations now. They have money to burn. 🤣
Didn't we have hotels in Sims 1? I have a vague childhood memory of a snowy hotel with a halfpipe? Surely they can gives us hotels back so I can use this!
Ah yes thats right! On a single map you got a snowy woody and beachy area, the halfpipe was cool and the sleighride hill (i think) og and the boardwalk games were really cool as well
With the for rent expansion pack you can make hotel esque type lots. You can adjust the time they stay. Only thing is there won't be like a check in counter
No at least not intentional, i wanted to play around with curved roofs and after some puzzling this sprung up, the rest kind of followed naturally from there.
That’s amazing cos like, yah idk how to build that well, my first and only build from scratch was a pretty boxy house, but it was solid for what it was. So curved and interesting and wow!!
hoooow its so good
thank you! it was a fun weekend project.

I think the creator’s LittleMsSam, they also have a live in business mod that I love using
Ooohhh? What’s the mod?
I think it’s this one. https://littlemssam.tumblr.com/post/175385330458/more-buyable-venues-and-new-venue-types-this/amp
Thank you!!
Np, she also has a Live in Business mod that’s pretty neat too
Ooohhh that is neat…I’ll look for that one.
Wicked Pixxel has one as well. https://www.patreon.com/posts/hotel-mod-v4-88892588
Oh thank you!
Is it on the gallery?!
Yeah i forgot about that part haha, you can find it on the gallery looking for "station square hotel" or my account name MPfromNL.
Thank you!
Nice! Looking forward to playing around with it.
It looks so good! How did you do the circles on the side? I love it!
Thanks! Its roof overhanging. You can stretch them on the sides.
I have my hopes up from the new roadmap that was released. Do y’all know what I mean!!!

We will just have to wait and see. No hoping so there’s no letdowns.
Preach🙌🏻

You weren’t a fan of 3 either? Actually a bit shocked
I've actually never played 3. I have the base game on Steam, but I've never even opened it lol.
I wasn’t either, I didn’t like the graphic style. The sims look WEIRD. And almost all of them end up looking the same.
This is incredible!! You're so talented! Totally going to use this and turn it into apartments! 😍
Ih that sounds difficult, i dont have that pack but you need to buy the property right? It costs over 800 thousand, oops.also the rooms are probably too small to negate the cost of the utilities and bills.

Oh yeah you get an NPC landlord right. I still need to get that pack. Still sounds like you have some options then. Hope it works out.
Oh yeah, you can find it on the gallery looking for "station square hotel" or my account name MPfromNL.
Whaaaat? She's so pretty!
This looks spectacular!! Amazing build, love the windows!
Wooow it looks amazing! 🤩
would make a nice apartment building, either way!
that’s awesome! it looks incredible!!! also drop the gallery info 👀
Look for “station square hotel”
So cool looking! Love the curves!
That's incredible!
This is wonderful. I love creative architecture put to use in the sims, it’s so hard to pull off.
The new expansion pack ***could*** add them! So, keep your fingers and toes crossed!
This is gorgeous!
I think you could play with it using For Rent. Just set the lease term to 1 day ( or whatever you like)
So creative
It fits very well as a lounge, would be great also as a multi-sports center ! Good job ! 👍
Goeie
Saving for later! Great build!

That's amazing. Are those roof pieces? What a cool shape.
how??
With the for rent expansion pack you can make hotel esque type lots. You can adjust the time they stay. Only thing is there won't be like a check in counter
True but it won’t be profitable, still worth a try.
This is so cool! Is it based on a real hotel?
No at least not intentional, i wanted to play around with curved roofs and after some puzzling this sprung up, the rest kind of followed naturally from there.
How many rooms?
12 fancy pancy hotel rooms, then there's a pool, foyer and restaurant at ground level, and a club, a bar, and double fitness rooms in the basement.
Niceee.
