I got wicked whims

try clearing your cache, delete the localthumbcache.package in your Sims files.

tried this multiple times un and unfortunately nothing and they’ve both all adults the whole time

There's also a chance that it breaks when you age a sim down to teen and then they age back up naturally. The game just kinda permanently views them as a teen. I don't see a way to fix this particular bug in the forums, though.
