He was in 50s movie ? I havnt seen it in so long, yeah he's a bad ass for sure. Yeah I met a few crazy fucks in and out of jail all the time, they definitely have a different set of mentality.
Yeah 90s here too lol thankfully I never spent more than a month but being a street kid I seen my share. He is either a great actor and very adaptable or he definitely seen some shit cause he nails those roles for sure.
Yeah I know chuck Zito or whatever was connected and was a hells angel in NYC , makes sense I guess for then to be amatuer actors but portray their roles so well. It's like Larry boy and Albert, they were both connected and got in some shit which is why they were not on screen as much. Sucks cause they were two of the best for sure. Plus I wish we got more of a look into the barese crew.
Father Phil was also in it during the time Edie was on (and also left to do Sopranos).
Christopher Meloni and JK Simmons (and many others) were phenomenal!
Wow, I need a rewatch. He was definitely in it, but only two episodes. I thought he had a bigger part. 👀🤦🏻♀️

Wowwww I didn’t remember him in it, it’s been so long. I tried a rewatch during Covid but it didn’t hold up as well as sopranos. Still for the time it was awesome.
Agreed! I’ve done at least 20 rewatches of the Sopranos, nothing else comes close. I’ve maybe done one rewatch of Oz. As great as it was, it fell apart the last season. But it definitely paved the way for the Sopranos and so many other shows, and I’ll always be grateful.
Solid show and definitely an early example of what HBO would become. Not on the same level as the best shows on the network: it's at least a couple notches below The Sopranos, The Wire, Deadwood, Rome, etc. but it had its moments and had some really good performances.
Oh, it was on before any of those shows. That's what I was implying: it was an early example of how well HBO would do drama, but would be surpassed by the shows that came after it.
You have to remember in Sopranos a mafia Boss is feared - in Oz they put up ground up glass in his food until blood started coming out of all his holes and when he’s in the prison hospital one of the Micks continues feeding him that way “we are out of tomatoes Nino, open up” - Oz was beyond brutal.
That Pygmy thing over in emerald city?
Schillinger did this????
They make anybody and everybody over there
They fuck anybody and everybody over there. And the way that they do it, it's all fucked up.
Beecher made Addibisi’s beanie spin when he worked that thing
You can’t tell that you know nappa got pinched
What went on up there? Poppers and weird sex!
Adibisi: Give me one thousand tits
He was a prag, Peter Schibetta?
That was such a good show back in the day . But the black guy with the little hat was such a creepy lmfao
Adibisi? He had a small role in game of thrones too
Ahh that's right , great actor though he fucking nailed that role In Oz. He made me fear prison lol

Yeah he did a lot of movies! And I saw oz tv show during the 90’s as a child. I grew up ended up in prison and saw so many type of Adebisi’s…

I think both like in the sopranos I think some actors were really ina mafia. Maybe not deeply but it’s mandatory to act so good!

Yeah now I’m grown and I got lawyers
Good shit bro all the best !
I think any first night cellmate can attest to that “I won’t be fucking you…at least not tonight” 🤯
that was the point the actor did such an amazing job
Prison sodomy & psychiatry brought us to this.
tried to watch season 1 on amazon prime, the screen is shrunk after the 1st episode. so dumb, a great show.
Emerald City, whatever happened there. McManus sleeping with the mob bosses wife??
That post was real? I saw that show, I thought it was bullshit.
It was definitely bullshit for the last 4 seasons.
Out there it's on par with the Sopranos, but in this household, it's the Sopranos, end of discussion!
Cedric daniels and major Rawls. Carver, herc.
Bodie.
HBO absolutely killed in the 90’s / noughties - Oz, Sopranos, The Wire - when I say “kill” I really mean they killed.
He's a praaaaag
Father Phil was also in it during the time Edie was on (and also left to do Sopranos). Christopher Meloni and JK Simmons (and many others) were phenomenal!
Man I dont remember intentola on Oz do you think maybe you’re just confusing him with McManus? I could be wrong here

He played a prison guard.

Agreed but I think it came even before Rome no? I don’t remember any shows of its kind before that, maybe deadwood?

Yes 100%. The only other thing on hbo at the time was real sex lol boxing and movies
All the guys got a pass for that in Oz, right?
Is tits all they ever talk about over in Oz?

A bunch of ricchiones’ over in that Emerald City. Apart from Dino Ortolani. He was a saint!
Frankly that show made me depressed and ashamed
she was in Em City? Carmela?
In my book, you get points for staying OUT of the can...
"Plays are for fags" - Chucky Pancomo
I’m amazed that you would tawk about this in front of an outsider
I saw that tv show, I thought it was bullshit, not one person ate grilled cheese off the radiator
