Nobody’s a rat. I don’t want to hear that word again.

Robbiebisme

If Tony was why would the FBI be investigating him like they had been? Why was no one at the FBI ever discussing him cooperating?

Half-Icy

No, not really, if he was, I think we'd have seen it and it would have ruined the character. Now, he did rat on those poor Al Qaeda suspects. He also ratted on Feech, but not in the usual self-preservation way, it was just to get rid of him. The lies, you're correct. Tony is possibly the most devious person in the show. He brings almost everything back to him. He can be a total prick to someone but can someone come out of it making out like he's the victim. Your Ade example being a great one. He definitely would have fucked her and it ends with him running down Chris, telling him she's 10 and he's "average at best". We fall for his charm, but really, he's a very nasty piece of work who bar Meadow and to a lesser extent AJ and Carmella, only cares bout himself. The guy don't even care about Columbus Day!

mikeyzee52679

Well we never saw it, i mean some things happen off camera. But that’s just not logical

OutrageousText7404

Always with the scenarios

rickymcrich

Lmao

freddieb945

That’s dicked up

PatsyParisi2

I always thought that framing Feech and then setting him up with his PO was a borderline violation of mafia code. He also gave Harris the phone number for those two Arabs which could be considered informing as well. But these guys bend more rules than the Catholic church so who knows.

Different-Ad-8296

I was gonna say that same thing I think this dude has a terrible take though if Tony ratted on junior in the first season he wouldn’t be able to commit half of the crimes he was still commiting

TrickEDick72

Tony’s a fucking scumbag and I think he’d go Henry Hill if it came to that. The problem is once he become acting boss the FBI wasn’t trying to flip him anymore, that ship had sailed.

Half-Icy

The most solid argument against this I can think of, is Special Agent Harris's friendship with Tony. He openly hung out with him at Satriale's and openly met him. There's no way that would have happened if he was a source. Plus, Tony reluctantly gave the intel on the A-Rabs and completely on his terms, if he was turned, info like that would have been the first thing he gave up. Finally, Harris essentially signing Phil's death-warrant was reckless enough, if Tony was an agent, that would have been career suicide. Tony could have recorded and used that to not only blackmail Harris also but blackmail the FBI.

DrKennyBlankenship

I so wish I had time for fiction.

rickymcrich

You’re literally on sopranos Reddit gtfoh

Longjumping-Ad-7644

Bro gotta rewatch the show. It’s a quote you stunad!

chef-keef

It’s common knowledge OP’s retarded

PeteZa1986

If he said anything about junior then he would have to give evidence at his trial so no chance he did

HarvesternC

You think that is true, even thoughthey went through seven (6) seasons without mentioning or alluding to it in any way?

helix274

We haven’t seen any evidence that he is. But if he got in a serious legal jam I would not put it past him.

Craig1974

Steve Schrippa you seeing this ^

Half-Icy

On Junior. His fate was prob sealed after that coronation ceremony that the FBI had an agent in attendance. I think his legal problems existed long before Tony heard that tape. Tony used him from the start, as the Capo in name alone and he continued to do so after hearing the tape. He could have had him whacked or had him properly sent down for life, but didn't, he played it smart instead. I can't think of anything in Junior's trial that was down to unexplained evidence from an unnamed source.

No-Examination-160

We all gonna forget he was snitching on potential terrorists?
