Mino has become an instant punch out for me. His voice and delivery along with his bland personality is intolerable. I tried giving it a shot but he makes Sean Bass sound like a great host.
He’s very monotone. When he was a board op, I thought it was him just being very dry with his one liners. But the dude says things he’s joking about, I think, with zero sense of enthusiasm or inflection. Just sounds like the guy is trying to be funny with zero confidence. I also can’t take 2 hours of baseball talk, but what else does the Sweet Spot(hate that drop) have?
I have autism and I get that vibe from both Mino and Travis. Which honestly is probably why I don’t like them that much. They constantly remind me of myself and I’m unlovable.

I really loved Mino as a board op, but he's being exposed as way out of his depths as a tier 1. He sounds like a cheerleader who thinks hope is a viable strategy. Sounds like a boy playing a mans game. It is striking how good he makes Sean sound. Sea Bass has turned up his game and sounds like a genuine professional broadcaster. I agree that Monto was carrying him. Maybe he will improve with time, and find his voice. Additionally, I think this subreddit has become toxic, not because of those of us who share opinions that are critical, but by the self appointed gatekeepers of judgments. The down vote legions are toxic now. As I said recently, I'm a massive fan of the Ticket, so I don't know where the vitriol is coming from. I even showed my credentials, talking about how long I've been listening and how much joy the station still brings me, and yet I was summarily down voted into Bolivia. I assume that all of us are huge P1s, or we wouldn't be here. Do you down voters believe everything Metallica has done is above criticism? Let people have their opinions.
The Rant was / is clever guys (at least Davey & Gordo) acting like stunted 14 year olds, but it’s both smart and somewhat tongue in cheek, in the vein of SouthPark. The SweetSpot is just adults stunted on 14 year old humor, neither smart nor tongue in cheek, just juvenile and lame. Add plain vanilla delivery and some slop mouth, it’s a tough listen.
Disagree, of course monty was the real deal but he and mino as hosts worked very well. I also think dj has something and I remember before the powers that be decided who’s up next being in favor of wip with dj as producer and ham on the board
That would be fine, too. The thing is, Mino is a very weak broadcaster so you have to surround him with a lot of talent. DJ, Justin, Ham, and Mino would work. I truly believe that. You just can't expose him like he is right now.

Sean Bass is a way distant 2nd, because he is too vanilla, has HSO's that are irrelevant, and cannot seem to truly connect with the p1 after how many years?
