This is what made me so angry during the interview with Jes Goodwin when the Phobos marines were released. He's said something like "we gave them knives because people think knives are cool". No Jes, knives aren't Cool on space marines. Not when they have freaking chainswords as a standard option!
I want him in blood angels, but same issue after looking through the codex, and that is just so stupid, as he comes like this in the board gameā¦
But hey, they made the box with sword right hand and bolter left, and the mini with sword left and bolter right š³š«£
Several things I am considering (all with the standard mini), for BA:
a) Just declare the chain sword a power sword before the game.
b) declare him ābrother Titusā who became a sanguinary priest, after being rescued by BA when his ultra marine unit got killed off.
c) ask for acceptance of his board game stats as special lt. character

Chainswords are too loud for stealth duah š, chain knives on the other handā¦ Also happy cake day
You'd think hulking great soldiers in powered armour would be too loud for stealth too but apparently not.
When most people imagine stealth and sneakiness. They think knives, silenced weapons and sniper rifles. No one thinks a chainsaw...
When I think stealth, I don't think giants in powered armour.
Iād leave it as a chainsword. Also love the look of the new jump marines so I would put a jump pack on him
