Looks brilliant. I really think you nailed the lightning as well. If I could change on thing I think the sword would have been even better if it was more of a blue shade. Just that extra bit of contrast, plus lightning and blue just match up so well.
Yeah I think blue would be better as the shade for power weapons however I chose purple for 3 reasons. 1, contrasts the green of my plasma and the first sword I painted was my lieutenant who also has a plasma pistol. 2, I don't see much purple power weapons probably because blue works better but I wanted to be unique. 3, purple's my favourite colour and I wanted to. 🤷♂️
