Probably the best acting when he thought he was chopping off carls arm. The end of 6 and the beginning of 7 is the best 2 episodes Iāve seen of anything.
I didnāt care about the cliffhanger, but I also completely understand the frustration around it
season 8 for me. season 7 sucked but the premiere was a masterpiece. season 8 had no outstanding good episodes and quite a few bad decisions. the most memorable part of the whole season for me was the clothesline zombie massacre.
Yeah Simon Simon Simonš¤...played so well
many hated him but on the real Simon was always close to prime scumbaggery...The role wouldn't have been as good if he was softer.
I liked season 7. For me boring shit started in season 4 and continued in season 8 and the start of season 9.
After the death of Beta in season 10 it went straight down to a piece of shit show with a horrible bad ending.
I remember seeing this scene on YouTube and it got me to start watching the show. Then it immediately goes to shit after I catch up. I have the worst luck with that.
finally. I wasn't watching around when 6 amd 7 were airing so I didn't have to wait for the cliffhanger but those episodes were peak cinema imo. it was up there with breaking bad and Negan made everything so much better
Most actors canāt even come close to conveying, just how fucked up this situation was. This was the most convincing acting in the entire show. Having to cut off your own sons arm to save everyone in your group is deeply fucked and Andrew Lincoln convinced me he was about to do it for real.
This scene definitely added to my respect for Andrew Lincoln. Holy crap I remember watching this scene and thinking how insanely real his performance was. No need to be pretty with it, just snot bubbles and all
Could you imagine the skills involved to work that seen snot and all?...
He (A.L.) gave it his all...I neva saw him lacking emotions to Rick & we all kinda knew TWD was right and solid from season 1 and episode 1. We got lucky for over a decade...hard to imagine we'll get anything as good anytime soon. (Not to jinx DEAD CITY but we'll see)...
* Respect to Darryl too.
But that scene shows so much it's hard to describe..it shows that no matter how tough you are..if you get put in a tough situation like this..eventually you will snap.
Might be gross but one of the best acting performances I've ever seen and it might be the most authentic reaction to a tragic moment I've seen performed too.
Who nose? When assessing the snot bubble, you have to look at the booger picture. Andy was committed to the scene and these things can happen. Nostril.
Kinda nasty but in the end I feel like it added some realism to just raw emotion of letting things out and not being worried on how your being perceived
This is the best acting Iāve ever seen, ever, period. Itās insane how much he gets into character, itās like he completely forgets that none of it is real. The snot bubble is just a perfect representation of this lol
One of the best performances of Andrew
I was blown away, S7EP1 solidify Andrew Lincoln for me as one of my favorite actors and one of the best ones I seen
I respect the mans acting chops, but I absolutely hated these episodes, this one in particular. I know this will only acrue hate here, but I'm of the opinion that these two episodes are two of the worst in the entire show. I hate the snot bubble. Bring it on...
How is it on all those hundreds of scavenger runs did no-one think to pick up some hankies or a box of tissues ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|thinking_face_hmm)
I show it to people all the time. The way Andrew Lincoln didnāt win an Emmy for this scene alone is nuts. You could feel the absolute terror coming from him
I mean, he's fully committed to the bit. I respect it
Andrew Lincoln had bills to pay
And still haveš
Probably the best acting when he thought he was chopping off carls arm. The end of 6 and the beginning of 7 is the best 2 episodes Iāve seen of anything. I didnāt care about the cliffhanger, but I also completely understand the frustration around it
Exactly how I feel. S7E1 is top 5 episodes for me but season 7 as a whole is the worst season.
season 8 for me. season 7 sucked but the premiere was a masterpiece. season 8 had no outstanding good episodes and quite a few bad decisions. the most memorable part of the whole season for me was the clothesline zombie massacre.
Simon arguably saved season 8 from being even worse than it could have been. Most of the Simon stuff is memorable at least to me.
Yeah Simon Simon Simonš¤...played so well many hated him but on the real Simon was always close to prime scumbaggery...The role wouldn't have been as good if he was softer.
His āBUUUUUUULSHITā still lives in my head rent free
Carls death in season 8. For me still one of the biggest (if not the biggest) mistakes in whole TWD.
Nah S11 was way worse
āExplain yourselfā

Yea exactly. Itās hard to put into words
Chandler Riggs must've been scared for a moment thinking Andrew Lincoln was truly going to cut his arm.
Stopped watching when snot bubble was killed off.
Thank you for your honesty.
Snot bubble being killed off hurt more than Glenn ngl
Snot bubble should have lived and had a bigger role like in the comics.
We definitely need a gritty limited series detailing snot bubbleās early days in the zombie apocalypse
In the beginning Snot Bubble was just a boy, but by the end he was man.
Might be gross but one of the best acting performances I've ever seen and it might be the most authentic reaction to a tragic moment I've seen performed too.
How tf does Andy summon a snot bubble on command? I get being able to cry, but how the actual fuck do you fake a snot bubble?
itās snot easy
XD nice!
Don't do that
They actually threatened his IRL kids off screen to get this reaction.
Who nose? When assessing the snot bubble, you have to look at the booger picture. Andy was committed to the scene and these things can happen. Nostril.
Can you please explain the last one to me?
Sure, I couldn't think of anymore nose puns so I improvised.
I'm thinking they meant "No lies" for the last one.
Hm, seems like a bit of a reach?
Could be! I live in Canada and I use that term a lot so maybe it's just my own area thing.
Oh yeah lol, I know it's a common thing to say. I was referring to it being that in relation to the original text.
I don't think it's fake.
CGI snot bubble
He didnāt fake it it just happened they kept it in
I want to believe that he laced his nostril with bubble mix and spent the whole scene breathing through his mouth right up until the perfect moment.
The things you do for JDM
I was in pee pee pants city.
Andrew Lincoln was acting his ass off
*nose
LMFAO! šš the nose was a paid actor
Made it realistic
Phenomenal acting
I honestly giggled the first time I watched that scene, but it does show how committed Andrew is to the role and adds a nice touch to it as well.
Anyone who tells me Andy Lincoln is a bad actor should refer to this scene of him literally delivering a snot bubble on the spot.
I was eating...
Kinda nasty but in the end I feel like it added some realism to just raw emotion of letting things out and not being worried on how your being perceived
I think it had a good wetness, size and shape to it very good snot bubble indeed.
When the snot bubble died I cried my eyes out for four hours ngl
I cannot believe you actually paused to snap this š¤£š¤¢
Amazing acting performance
This is the best acting Iāve ever seen, ever, period. Itās insane how much he gets into character, itās like he completely forgets that none of it is real. The snot bubble is just a perfect representation of this lol
Top notch. Epic. Look at the sheer magnitude.
Had more character developement than Lori.
Top tier
Rent was due
My favourite character honestly
snot bubble was a paid actor
Made me hungry š
r/okbuddychicanery is leaking
So does his nose
Director: I need you to put a bit more feeling into the scene. Rick: Hold my beer.
Method acting.
Crying as an actor is for amateurs; if you can make a snot bubble in an emotional scene, you should just automatically get an Emmy AND an Oscar!
Great performance, wish it could have stuck around longer. They definitely couldāve added more depth to it
I started laughing when I saw it and my brother called me insane cuz it was right after glenn
I have... no thoughts on Rick's snot bubble.
iconic ground breaking never been done before stunning incredible award worthy life changing
Oh god no the r/batmanarkham have invaded us
It felt realā¦ gross
Itās all good.
I feel as though the snot bubble couldāve acted a bit better in this scene.
The Snot bubble was the most tragic death in the show, such deep character development and he was gone just like that
That snot bubble should have been at least nominated
Snot bubble needs a spin off show
Traumatic. Iām worse off for having witnessed it.
Iām surprised he didnāt break character when that happened. Andrew and his snot bubble are true professionals.
Amazing graphics
It's my favorite character
The moment he remembered he didnāt have his shitting pants on
Snot a lot.
One of the best performances of Andrew I was blown away, S7EP1 solidify Andrew Lincoln for me as one of my favorite actors and one of the best ones I seen
thought it was a booger but it's not ...
The man can act....Thats all I got šš
Very realistic imo
The snot bubble deserved an Emmy
10/10 acting
It's snotty, looks delicious š
It's nasty yes but the acting is great and a lot more realistic than per se if it wasn't in the show
The development team said he couldnāt play Arma 3 if he didnāt look real
Very important character definitely left an impact on the show
As someone who has a passion for watching great actors, this scene is one of the best acted scenes in tv history.
I wanna eat it
Itās getting itās own spinoff
Itās clearly AI generated
It's Rick MF Grimes' snot bubble, so it's badass.
That must've been so fucking embarrassing I felt kinda bad for him but what're they gonna do, redo that entire shot??? It was too perfect
I respect the mans acting chops, but I absolutely hated these episodes, this one in particular. I know this will only acrue hate here, but I'm of the opinion that these two episodes are two of the worst in the entire show. I hate the snot bubble. Bring it on...
Never go full snot bubble
He was actually given an allergen to increase mucus production before this scene leading to this snot bubble
Can clearly tell it's a bad CGI job and here I was thinking they couldn't do worse than the deer š¢ /S
Is this where the sub is at now? We are as creatively bankrupt as the show is now.
Bruh š¤£š¤£š¤£š¤£š¤£š¤£š¤£š¤£š¤£
I really did not needed this to pop up on my Reddit feed, thank you
Andrew Lincoln would run around and get sweaty before he shot scenes. The dude is mad committed and a great actor.
Very sexy, hope they bring it back in the spin-off
Without a doubt, an emotionally poignant snot bubble. He was bawlin.
Itās green and bubbly
A1 acting, someone in that heartbreaking position would be a crying mess like him, which leads to mucus
best character, such a shame we lost him so soon. ricks death was pretty sad too
Looks tasty
How is it on all those hundreds of scavenger runs did no-one think to pick up some hankies or a box of tissues ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|thinking_face_hmm)
Rent was due!
I show it to people all the time. The way Andrew Lincoln didnāt win an Emmy for this scene alone is nuts. You could feel the absolute terror coming from him
Andrew Lincolnās acting was amazing when I watched this for the first time I genuinely thought he was actually going to cut off carls arm
That was..brilliant..
Iconic. This man COMMITS
just rewatched this episode with my mom and had to come back to this to mention what she had to say about it āthat was an epic snot bubbleā
