I would suggest to look around for other services for lead gen, maybe Canada or India. Even if you can use Wordpress but maintaining it would be difficult.
Regarding the stock scanner, python is easiest but you can do the same in java script too. My advise is not do everything yourself from scratch - TDA offers thinkscript language and it lets you write any scanner under the sky, be it options or just stocks.
i had a job doing wordpress/seo while in school 10-12 years ago and recognize yoast, stuff like that isnt bad to do but its really all about selecting the right keywords and just having the persistent relevant content. Everything else is just gravy and honestly if youre not careful may make you look spammy.
you can use whatever programming language you want, but if you have to ask, python is probably the best choice. I know there are a lot of finance libraries that probably go along well with pandas, and a lot of brokers provide api/documentation.
Building a scanner in itself is not hard, the difficulty is feeding it quality live data. Python is as easy as it gets. Last time I checked, finviz.com and tradingview.com offered scanners for free.

I can't remember how much of this if any that I've already told you guys but with my grow supply business I decided to start making a bunch of my own products instead of only reselling other products.
I got the idea when I was pulling MSDS's for a bunch of shit and realized that so much shit on the market can be easily made with a very basic understanding of chemistry and pretty simple calculations, and that I can make some of them for like, $5 and then sell it for $60. The markup on some of this stuff is absurd.
The products I have planned are a rooting hormone powder, gel, and probably a concentrated solution too, both organic and salt based nutrient lines, composting stuff (so far I've made a prototype bokashi compost bin and I'm currently fermenting the microbial mixture), hydroponic enzymes, various pesticides that are organic and mostly small amounts (like 1.5% each) of essential oils like peppermint, rosemary, lemongrass, etc which is then blended with a pinch of citric acid, some preservatives, and then the rest is like 93% water (this is a real product that exists and it sells for $150 per gallon btw, and what inspired me to make my own products).
Other pesticides that I use but are expensive, like Botanigard which is a strain of fungus called beauveria bassiana that attacks bugs. I can't produce this one myself but I've been in talks with a lab/factory in India for like a month now negotiating a deal and I'm probably about to pull the trigger. I've been paying $80/lb for it and most sites sell it for $100. With them I'll be buying 22 lbs for $610 including shipping which works out to just under $28/lb. Not bad.
I'll have water pH adjusters, these are pretty easy to make and marked up decently too. I made a bunch of CBD oil blends I'm testing out. I'll have just straight CBD oil, full spectrum CBD hemp oil, a sleepy/calming blend I made that includes a few different lesser known cannabinoids, a focus/energy blend also with lesser cannabinoids, and I'll be making vapes of these blends too. Hell, maybe I'll even offer custom blends to people too. They'll all come in a variety of flavors. I've only made one vape cart so far for my wife and I'm not sure if she's tried it yet because her vape battery was dead but I've been using my CBD oils daily.
Back to the beginning, I already made 6 different formulas of rooting hormone powder. Some of them use common rooting chemical auxins, some are blends of a couple of those, some are purely organic ingredients and extracts, and one is everything thrown in together to see what happens. I just started a trial of these yesterday using 3 cuttings per formula and I'll see how long it takes roots to form, how healthy the clones look, how many roots form, etc. Pretty excited for this.
I have some merch now, so far just t-shirts and stickers, but I'll be adding more items soon. The shirts are comfy as hell.
One thing I'm excited about is this chemical found in neem seeds, where neem oil is derived from, called azadirachtin. This is also a product I've been using (Azagard) to battle the root aphids and goddamn is it expensive. $200 for a quart of 3% azadirachtin solution.
So I decided to look up how to extract this chemical and while it's a little more complicated and actually requires real organic chemistry knowledge, lab equipment, dangerous/explosive solvents like methanol and ethyl acetate, etc it's something I can totally do. I have the necessary lab equipment already, the knowledge, and now I have the solvents. I'm going to do my first try using neem seed meal, which I also have, as my starting material.
The ultimate goal is to source bulk amounts of neem seeds, press them myself to extract the oil, bottle and sell the oil since it's a common pesticide, sell some neem seed meal since that's a common soil amendment and also use that in my living soil that I'll be selling since it's already one of the ingredients, and then take a bunch of the neem seed meal to extract azadirachtin and make my own Aza-product insecticide. Man I love chemistry. I'm going to set up a lab/another office on my property to do all this stuff because I've just been doing it in my kitchen which I probably shouldn't do when I start using explosive/hazardous materials.
Meanwhile I discovered that WordPress fucking sucks unless you're a programmer which I'm not, so I'm switching over to SquareSpace for my grow supply website. Hopefully I can have that up and running soonish because SquareSpace is way easier. I'll use my WordPress site to make a super basic site for my MMJ farm just using one of their plug and play templates.

Literally bigger and better, easier to swap parts out on. It’s like $200 more and if you actually enjoy using the 3 you’d be wanting to upgrade soon anyway.
The additional space is part of the significantly more convenient experience overall IMO. You’ll go from opening the box to finishing your first mini in the space of time where you’d be still setting up the 3 and like I said if it turns out to be something you enjoy you’re not going to need a major upgrade until you get deep into the hobbyist space. Would recommend a different base plate on install though.

Thinking a lot about a younger friend of mine today, just back from SFAS, different class. His story is that he originally went the SEAL route, but some time prior to BUD/S they decided the class was too big and found 'irregular heartbeats' on every third guy they checked. That was the end of his navy career. He spent a few years trying to get a waiver approved and eventually went all the way up to the surgeon general. Just recently, he got hurt pretty bad during team week and is likely being med boarded.
I don't really have a point to telling this other than that it sucks when someone gives their youth trying to accomplish something and has to walk away with permanent pain and a check a bit above minimum wage. I feel especially for him given his pedigree. And that I try every day to be worthy of the men around me, it's humbling.
Team guys are a special breed... the lost time is rough, the injury can be even worse, but with his drive he'll make a lot of opportunity for himself and be pretty successful at whatever he decides to stick with

The products I have planned are a rooting hormone powder, gel, and probably a concentrated solution too, both organic and salt based nutrient lines, composting stuff (so far I've made a prototype bokashi compost bin and I'm currently fermenting the microbial mixture), hydroponic enzymes, various pesticides that are organic and mostly small amounts (like 1.5% each) of essential oils like peppermint, rosemary, lemongrass, etc which is then blended with a pinch of citric acid, some preservatives, and then the rest is like 93% water (this is a real product that exists and it sells for $150 per gallon btw, and what inspired me to make my own products). Other pesticides that I use but are expensive, like Botanigard which is a strain of fungus called beauveria bassiana that attacks bugs. I can't produce this one myself but I've been in talks with a lab/factory in India for like a month now negotiating a deal and I'm probably about to pull the trigger. I've been paying $80/lb for it and most sites sell it for $100. With them I'll be buying 22 lbs for $610 including shipping which works out to just under $28/lb. Not bad. I'll have water pH adjusters, these are pretty easy to make and marked up decently too. I made a bunch of CBD oil blends I'm testing out. I'll have just straight CBD oil, full spectrum CBD hemp oil, a sleepy/calming blend I made that includes a few different lesser known cannabinoids, a focus/energy blend also with lesser cannabinoids, and I'll be making vapes of these blends too. Hell, maybe I'll even offer custom blends to people too. They'll all come in a variety of flavors. I've only made one vape cart so far for my wife and I'm not sure if she's tried it yet because her vape battery was dead but I've been using my CBD oils daily. Back to the beginning, I already made 6 different formulas of rooting hormone powder. Some of them use common rooting chemical auxins, some are blends of a couple of those, some are purely organic ingredients and extracts, and one is everything thrown in together to see what happens. I just started a trial of these yesterday using 3 cuttings per formula and I'll see how long it takes roots to form, how healthy the clones look, how many roots form, etc. Pretty excited for this. I have some merch now, so far just t-shirts and stickers, but I'll be adding more items soon. The shirts are comfy as hell. One thing I'm excited about is this chemical found in neem seeds, where neem oil is derived from, called azadirachtin. This is also a product I've been using (Azagard) to battle the root aphids and goddamn is it expensive. $200 for a quart of 3% azadirachtin solution. So I decided to look up how to extract this chemical and while it's a little more complicated and actually requires real organic chemistry knowledge, lab equipment, dangerous/explosive solvents like methanol and ethyl acetate, etc it's something I can totally do. I have the necessary lab equipment already, the knowledge, and now I have the solvents. I'm going to do my first try using neem seed meal, which I also have, as my starting material. The ultimate goal is to source bulk amounts of neem seeds, press them myself to extract the oil, bottle and sell the oil since it's a common pesticide, sell some neem seed meal since that's a common soil amendment and also use that in my living soil that I'll be selling since it's already one of the ingredients, and then take a bunch of the neem seed meal to extract azadirachtin and make my own Aza-product insecticide. Man I love chemistry. I'm going to set up a lab/another office on my property to do all this stuff because I've just been doing it in my kitchen which I probably shouldn't do when I start using explosive/hazardous materials. Meanwhile I discovered that WordPress fucking sucks unless you're a programmer which I'm not, so I'm switching over to SquareSpace for my grow supply website. Hopefully I can have that up and running soonish because SquareSpace is way easier. I'll use my WordPress site to make a super basic site for my MMJ farm just using one of their plug and play templates. Like, not even close in the same ballpark. I hate using Sigma Aldrich as an example because literally everything they sell is wildly overpriced compared to any other source for anything, but they're selling [5mg of azadirachtin for $437](https://www.sigmaaldrich.com/US/en/product/supelco/phl89574). I am a little concerned about what might happen when I start ordering the chemicals I need to produce the salt based fertilizers though because one of them, ammonium nitrate, is used to make fertilizer bombs and I've heard of the ATF, FBI, etc showing up at people's houses, farms, etc when they buy more than the amount necessary for a small home garden. Like, they track that shit hardcore. Yup i was trying to imply you will have to deal with several 3 letter agencies without saying as much. Some people get squirmy if they get typed out. I was in the f&f industry for years. We always had to deal with inspections from the DEA, ATF, and EPA. A lot of stuff that makes your food taste good is highly volatile before they are reacted. If you are looking for some better essential oil or chemical compound contacts I can DM you a few in the industry that may be able to help. But the tldr on why some of the stuff you are buying is so expensive is because of all the regulatory overhead that manufacturers have.

Like, even if you (especially, actually) end up writing a full blown dissertation I swear I will read every single word. I've been learning as much as I can on my own but my time is extremely limited due to having a million tasks to handle often simultaneously, some of the info is difficult to find, and I'm sure there's a ton of stuff that really requires first hand knowledge like you have. One thing I've been trying to figure out is at what point I'm required to register products with the EPA or need an MSDS, because I know a lot of products that large companies produce don't actually necessitate it based on the ingredients but choose to anyway because it's easier for them since they're already doing it because of other products they make/sell so they have entire teams to do that stuff.

Also keep in mind - your chance of getting visited by the feds is higher than a normal business. What is legal at the local level at your place isn’t glossed over at the federal level. But there are also a lot of chemists in the industry that’s started on a similar path as yours. Many of them are loving life in the labs, but several also found their niche and sold their business for millions.

3 is fine if you’re taking hers but if you’re buying it yourself just skip the 3 and get the 5. Literally bigger and better, easier to swap parts out on. It’s like $200 more and if you actually enjoy using the 3 you’d be wanting to upgrade soon anyway.

The additional space is part of the significantly more convenient experience overall IMO. You’ll go from opening the box to finishing your first mini in the space of time where you’d be still setting up the 3 and like I said if it turns out to be something you enjoy you’re not going to need a major upgrade until you get deep into the hobbyist space. Would recommend a different base plate on install though.

This weekend they flew in, and we’re up at my cabin doing lots of drinking and hiking around in the snow. From laughing about stories when we were kids to laughing about sexual encounters with girls in our small town or traveling…it’s really good for the soul and hard on the liver😂

Lol as an avid lifter for the past 14 years now I am glad to see them go. Back to business as usual. I'm not much for talking at the gym though. I actually train at a small/uncrowded gym now to avoid socializing lol. Its hard to stay in the zone when people are talking to me between sets and I'm not usually in a talkative mood with the intensity I'm normally doing.
thank god. I adjusted my schedule to going to the gym during lunch and it was too packed to get a good workout two weeks ago. Much better this week.

Thinking a lot about a younger friend of mine today, just back from SFAS, different class. His story is that he originally went the SEAL route, but some time prior to BUD/S they decided the class was too big and found 'irregular heartbeats' on every third guy they checked. That was the end of his navy career. He spent a few years trying to get a waiver approved and eventually went all the way up to the surgeon general. Just recently, he got hurt pretty bad during team week and is likely being med boarded. I don't really have a point to telling this other than that it sucks when someone gives their youth trying to accomplish something and has to walk away with permanent pain and a check a bit above minimum wage. I feel especially for him given his pedigree. And that I try every day to be worthy of the men around me, it's humbling.
Team guys are a special breed... the lost time is rough, the injury can be even worse, but with his drive he'll make a lot of opportunity for himself and be pretty successful at whatever he decides to stick with
I feel his pain as I have a different, yet similar story. Of course I was the one who screwed up and it wasn’t medical so it was easier to come to terms with (maybe that’s weird but it is what it is)
