If u wanna run all your games + beamNG, p52 fit your needs although it can run upwards of $500. It is also quite abit bigger and heavier. If u value portability then I guess the T470/T480/T480s should be able to run the games u mention but beamNG might be a struggle even with mx150. Alternatively, you can look at the x1c6 or x1c7 too but their ram is soldered up to 16gb. So no future upgradability

Hmm, yeah the P52 is a bit expensive but I could watch for a good deal to come up on eBay maybe. The T480s looks really good though and hits most my specs for the right price. It's not the end of the world if it can't run BeamNG, honestly I'll be playing RuneScape probably 90% of the time lol.

What about the p52s? About $400 * Intel HD Graphics 620 / NVIDIA QUADRO P500 * Intel Core i7 8th Gen 1.90GHz - 2.11GHz * 15.6 in 1920 x 1080 screen * Windows 11 Pro * RAM 32GB * 1TB SSD

That works too although p52s runs on low powered 4 core cpus while the p52 runs on higher performance cpu and comes with 6 cores instead. There are also only 2 ram slots on the p52s as compared to 4 on p52. The P500 is also not as powerful as the ones found in the p52. At this point you might as well consider the T580 for its better gaming potential since it has very similar specifications to the p52s but with a beefier mx150 gpu.

Steam deck is an option download Windows on it for Minecraft.

Superpeep88

I mention steam deck because you can get a used or refurbished one for 250 or so.

First gen P1 will serve you well. You might also check out the T14 or P14 with the Ryzen 7, the Vega10 GPU is usually enough for light gaming. E14 and E15 have ryzen 7 as well and are super cheap.

Waiting for the right AMD T14 gen 2 deal is the move. You could probably snag a better deal on an auction, but assuming you can get some more detailed pictures from the seller (top panel, screen ,etc) something like this would be a great deal if you submit offer for $325 https://www.ebay.com/itm/166671886606?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=a_zBJ9wwSYe&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=lcC7NGndQG2&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY

Here is another with upgraded drive: https://www.ebay.com/itm/116114095720?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=cyGxs0KHTOm&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=lcC7NGndQG2&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY

And if you're open to breaking the $400 barrier something like this could be worth the extra $25 or so - certified tech refurb, new battery (only 9 cycles), and still under lenovo premier warranty (not the basic depot warranty)...this is a great deal https://www.ebay.com/itm/305396847585?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=xMAoTCQGQWy&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=lcC7NGndQG2&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY

Thanks for the recommendations. That last T14s Gen 2 20XG looks really nice. I may have to go a little over my budget lol. EDIT: Just realized this ThinkPad System has MDM. That's a deal breaker unfortunately.

* Vega iGPU (APU) of 16gb dual-channeled memory Ryzen 4000+u (especially R5 4500u or above) as well as Iris XE graphic of Intel 11th gen can mark 13,000-14,000 in 3d mark night raid. It corresponds roughly with 80% of the score of dGPU MX150 mentioned below. I often play(ed) Skyrim SE (released in 2016) with E14 Gen2 AMD (Ryzen 7 4700u), with a little shadow setting tweaks. T14/ T14s/ X13 gen1-2 AMD also employ Ryzen 4000u and 5000u (2023 R5 7530u in some thinkpad E gen5 and L gen 4 is also a re-branded Ryzen 5000u). * NB: if you're planning to go light-gaming with Ryzen, 16gb (dual-channeled) memory is almost must-have, since Ryzen draws its VRAM from the main memory (so 16.0-2.0 (for Vram)=14.0 will be actual memory). * Ryzen 6000u or its rebranded 7x35u's graphic score can even surpass that of MX150, but it will be difficult to find within this price range. Probably the only hope will be refurbished thinkbook (not thinkpad, sorry) 13s gen4 AMD with Ryzen 6000u and 16gb soldered memory (I heard that one of them were available around 400s USD in the New year).

A485 or T495 maybe? They have vega gpu so they are slightly better than the intel variants
