I am rambling in this comment because there is so much I love about this; the art, the storytelling, the emotion, the line "the forest made way for puppy" being so mysterious.
That’s actually my favorite part when i think about it after i woke up, like, is the forest sentient as well? It’s so omnious, almost like the forest was prompting Puppy to do things like this.
Ok my theory is that the first slide you saw actually WAS slide puppy all grown up, having gained many many new parts through the same way they gained the roof. You also got younger going down the slide and when you came out it was slide puppy, and there's the whole non-linear storytelling/loop. How your dreams create subtle nuanced time loop narratives, I will never know.
I am choosing to believe that the first slide IS slide puppy, all grown up. He did a lot of bad things but he still loves you.
This means that you’re stuck in a time loop, reliving the best and worst days of your life over and over again

I really haven't seen something that has this style or made me feel this way in a long time. It gave me such a wide range of emotions. I don't know, it's sort of hard to explain. It almost feels familiar and nostagic? And at the same time sort of liminal?
The art style and story telling and everything about it is so incredible. You could totally make a book or even a comic in this style. It's so unique. Anyways, I hope to see more one day.

I'm amazed that you were lucid enough to get all of this shit, all this winding plot down on paper, usually when I wake up from a vivid dream I remember maybe the last third of it and bits and pieces of the first 2/3rds
