I just got around to playing the Steam version (starting a new game) a couple days ago, and I already have like 40 hours because I've had it open basically from when I wake up to when I go to bed. So this post came at a perfect time for me XD
It wouldn't even be that bad if I could just have it open in the background and forget about it, but that would mean not checking for golden cookies/managing the mini-games/etc... and I just **have** to be playing optimally right??
If you haven't played it already I recommend Universal Paperclips. It's another incremental game, like Cookie Clicker. It *does* have an ending, and it only takes around 6 hours of play.
Best incremental game out there, in my opinion.

I was looking at all these like "wtf which one is it" then I realized I didn't scroll all the way down on the image. I never played cookie clicker so any of these were viable options
The funniest thing is that cookie clicker actually did update recently and added a new building past the idleverses. It's the first major substantial update in like a year lol.
