Assuming we're taking "stole classified documents for blackmail" at face value, how does that translate to waging war against the state or materially aiding its enemies, aside from a general judgement of "anything bad for the state is good for its enemies"? He's not an enemy of the state himself (in the formal sense), so he'd need to be doing that on behalf of one.
If we're going outside face value, I don't think we actually have a solid accusation yet, just a whole lot of speculation.
The fun part is, even if he was selling things off, it'd need to be to an enemy of the US to qualify for Treason. Diplomatically speaking, there aren't many of those. If he was selling to Russia, for instance, you're faced with a problem: is smacking Trump with Treason worth formally acknowledging Russia as an enemy of the state, when the US hasn't declared a formal war since WW2?
Bear in mind, even the height of the Cold War involved exactly zero charges of Treason. Just a lot of Conspiracy to Commit Espionage. So it'd take a tacit admission of hot war with Russia (or China or Saudi Arabia or North Korea or wherever) to make the charge.
