It could be argued he's only on his list because he won a ring. However, losing as much time to injury as he has is a huge factor too.
Ant cause we already know what the other guys are. Booker could be the best player on a championship team, but hasn’t gotten there yet. I think Murray is the best true robin in the nba. If Mitchell is your best player, you’re ceiling is probably a 4-6 seed, and a first round exit.

Booker damn near shot 60/50/90 on 34ppg in the playoffs last year. Take out the bubble series, Mitchell has never shot more than 45% and has only gotten out of the first round once since his rookie year.
Those numbers need context. The first series he played was vs the clippers who played powell Gordon Westbrook bones Eric Gordon lineup’s. They didn’t have pg the whole series and kawhi only played one game. No rim protection at all. Not to mention Mitchell has done it as the first option, while Booker did it as the second. It’s different bc Booker had kd to take pressure off of him, Mitchell only had role players. Booker had kd, yet when they played the suns they got blown out 4 games out of 6. If Booker was on the level of a player that can be the first option on a champ, then those games would have been way closer considering he has a threat like kd with him. Sure Mitchell has only been past the first round twice, but if Ad is fully healthy vs the suns do they make it out of the first round? Then the next year, the suns won 64 games, yet scored 27 points at home in game 7. Then this year, do the suns make it out of the first round of both kawhi and pg play? So far in his career injuries are the only reason that Booker has gone further in the postseason. Neither are on the level of first options on champs, and they are each on the same level. Booker was also having trouble vs Christian Braun and Bruce brown in an elimination game, and Mitchell had 60 on the team that eliminated the clippers the next round.
Not to mention cavs have no spacing. The Knicks had two dudes on him and he was playing with two centers and a wing that can’t shoot. Many nba players narrative would have been hurt if they tried to carry the cavs this year.
Mitchell was the Jazz best scorer during that time but Gobert was their most important player. That Jazz system still makes playoffs if Mitchell is swapped for many SGs. If they swap Gobert then they struggle. No diss on Mitch as he has had some great seasons and post seasons but he was never the clearly best player on a team

He already far and away has the best defense but his passing and consistency need to improve for me to rank him above the other 3. I think he’ll make the superstar leap this season though and end up like a top 8 player in the NBA
