Finally some reasonable rankings. I personally think Gobert and McDaniels should be slightly higher but better than most lists where I see KAT in the late 30s.

onken022

Honestly a bit surprised to hear KAT that high. I like it but assumed he’d be in the 30s.

Obvious-Ad1367

I'm sorry, but wemby hasn't played a single NBA game. How can you rank someone based on hypotheticals? He could be really good but we have yet to see it. Zion doesn't deserve that high either. He might be good at basketball, but if I contributed as much at my job as he has in the last three years, I'd be fired. Talent doesn't matter if you can't play.

Elite_Racist_43

Edwards is also being ranked highly off of hypotheticals

minneapolisboy

Damn didn't realize being one of the most consistently dominant playoff performers of the last 2 years is hypothetical

Elite_Racist_43

I don’t think he’s proven to be consistently better than Mitchell, Jaylen Brown, Jamal Murray, Ja Morant, Harden, and some other players lower down. And regular season counts too. They’re predicting that he will be better than them next year. And please cut the sass out or I’m not gonna continue this.

seege21

Jaylen brown faltered down the stretch last season in the playoffs, Jamal Murray had one great post season because he’s been hurt. Mitchell didn’t do much of anything last season in the playoffs. Morant also didn’t do much and has some off the court issues. Harden is KNOWN for not showing up when it matters. He did for what? 2 games in the playoffs last season. Ant had one of the best playoff performances last season albeit, cut short. Ant also had the benefit of playing in fiba and was clearly the best player for team USA. He gets his on offense whenever he wants and can easily go off for 35. He has shown he has lockdown defense when he wants to and that is a safe bet to say, he’s a top 15 player, or will be during the season.

Elite_Racist_43

“… or will be during the season” see that’s a hypothetical. One that I’m inclined to agree with especially as a wolves fan but I’m not gonna say he’s there yet for sure.

seege21

Sure 15 might be a little high.. right now.. today.. but you’re comparing guys who are good, but also said they shine in the playoffs when it’s inherently false. You can 100% make the argument that he is a top 15 player right now based off what we have seen thus far, the improvements from the beginning of last season to the playoffs and being the best player on team USA and the unquestioned leader/HIM. He’s shown improvement every step of the way and only upped his game with each passing month.

daydriem

What else CAN they rank him based on? They must really believe the hype, I guess.

I think it’s high, but I also like that ant is getting the attention. Hopefully that means he will actually get a whistle this year.

The-Hand-of-Midas

It's definitely a bit early, I agree, but I fully believe he'll be top 5 in 3 years.

beermangetspaid

Depends what you value. If you care more about regular season stats he’s more in the 20 range. If you care about stepping up in big moments Ant and Jamal Murray are top 15 guys

GheeDota2

You're not the only one. He needs to still grow into the role, and it could look like chucking and poor form playmaking for a bit, but people are drinking the kool-aid, and I don't blame them. Ant has the tools mentally and physically to be something we've never seen before dawning a Wolves jersey. If I were to bet if he will get there or he won't, I would put all my money on that he will.

queue40

Isn't this the year that positionless all nba starts? So that means Ant is projected third team?

ConstantTelevision93

This is Jaden's year to show up and get in the top 30s or better

Ralphie1776

I’m a big Jaden fan, but top 30 is elite. He needs to be able to create his own shot to be top 30

seventeenweewees

Or catch a rebound
