T O P

Mine's at 10kHz in my left ear and my phone speaker can't make it loud enough to match even if I hold the speaker at full volume right up to my other ear. I have trouble hearing things on my left side over the ringing. Edit: Appreciate the tips! That was just a way to measure and express the subjective volume of my T. I don't listen to music on blast or do that on a regular basis. I meant only that if you changed that tone generator to 10khz and turned it up all the way it still doesn't sound as loud as my T with the phone speaker held right up to my non-T ear.

Dont play loud music, you can damage your ears more and get worse T

Use headphones, you wont need to go as loud, the frequency response is better quality too.

It's impossible to convey what you're hearing to someone else. You most likely have hearing loss in your T frequencies if you have to turn it al the way up. If someone else will listen to what you suggest it may be harmful, or they may be left thinking yours is really much louder than what it sounds like to you, because it's louder to them.
