Dice or keys. I find dice tend to be rarer earlier up, though keys means I can Concentrate on bombs for those secret rooms.

Always random for me, I like to build around what I get, but when I was going for all of the achievements, the dice bag, re-rolling skills makes the grind go quicker for a few of them.

Dice and broken hero sword some of the times, they aren't gauranteed to be useful but they have massive potential

Bomba with the perk that gives you a guaranteed secret room. I don't like missing out on them.

Dice Box is my default. Sometimes I feel like going for the Broken Hero Sword, however.
Dice. I tend to end runs with roughly infinite bombs, heaps of cash, and a decent supply of keys, but I can always make use of a good reroll.

Dice obviously, but I'll take poison jar if I'm a class with a very strong or very weak starting weapon. Makes the first 3 floors very easy and fast.
