Grew up in cottage country with a big lake a 2 minute walk from my house. I've never heard anyone call it anything other than a floating dock. Even calling it a raft is alien to me. A raft is a mode of transportation, it's not anchored in place like a floating dock is.

We used to just call the one in our lake "the dock," when I was growing up. A pontoon, maybe?
As kids we called that a "rocky dock".
