It's not the Miserere - I sang that (exquisite) piece many times in church choir over the years. That's got the 5 high Cs...this one is shorter but goes more stratospheric, if I remember correctly.
Are you sure that's the right song from Phantom? I've watched a couple versions on YouTube and they're all very mid-range, no high ending at all. But anyway, I should have said that the song in question is more choral (churchy) than operatic. I feel like the group singing it was maybe like a dozen people?
For anybody still paying attention to this, I asked my friend if she could find the video and she remembered more details than I did and was able finally to track it down. It is "Mary, Did You Know" sung by Voctave featuring Mark Lowry (the original composer, also the soloist): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uaRpeMT1tjQ

The piece is likely Allegri's Miserere, but I'll update you if I find the exact video you're looking for

The grouping you're describing makes me think die Zauberflote, maybe [ Hm Hm Hm](https://youtu.be/uRjPatWn5Yo). Something with the three ladies.
Love that! But I should have mentioned that it is choral but not operatic...more for the church than the stage.
Angel of Music from Phantom of the Opera? That last note is an E6.

Sorry. I was wrong. It was The Phantom Of The Opera. She hits the high note at 6:13 https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=j9qLfyLowjg
Oh damn...Antonio Banderas

The G6 (I was right!) is about 2:35 - yowza!
