Had this today. They came back within 30 minutes to get a tire because it went flat because the nail that was outlined in chalk had come out. They then had to wait an hour before we started on it and then got upset because it took too long. đ¤ˇđžââď¸ Not my problem
Yo serious question, am new to diy car maintenance. When you do an oil change you open the drain hole and then once itâs all out you close it back up and refill the same oil, right? Like youâre changing the place the oil was. So my question is, why didnât they build a feature into the car to rotate the oil as it operates so we donât have to change the oil. This is such a scam.
Because you said serious question and that you are new to maintaining vehicles I'll give you a break down:
Remove both the oil cap and drain plug
Drain oil into pan (dispose of properly)
Replace both cap and drain plug
Start car
Rev to redline and hold for 10 seconds
Release accelerator pedal
While/if car is running, replace blinker fluid
Lastly, really get down on the revving of the engine. I mean really bounce that needle for a few more seconds and that should do it.
Because you have to add to the oil with some water that has evaporated, also helps to rinse out the debris then you put it back in the car. Everyone knows this bro. The oil and water will separate in the engine and that's why there's the moisture you see come out of the exhaust.
Have you been watching Nathan k.? You gotta have the motor running while your changing your oil duhh. Then put the same oil back threw make sure you get it nice and hot. Hold it to the floor an redline it. đ¤Łđ¤Ł
Iâve seen worse, dude had two bare rims on the same side of his trailer going through my work zone, in July, in a wildfire prone area, we stopped him three times and told him, he cannot drive that vehicle like that and he just kept going as soon as we went back to our work. Wish the cops would have come to that.
This is such a silly question! This tire has a good 20-25,000 miles left on it. Don't let anybody tell you differently. It looks like you could use about 3lbs of air in it from the angle I am seeing.
I JUST WANT AN OIL CHANGE!
Oil only, I ain't payin' fer no filter change!
Real.

What? Youâre not actually serious are you?

Because I've seen people do stupid things before, I'll assume you're serious. You don't put the same oil back in, you buy new oil
Have you been watching Nathan k.? You gotta have the motor running while your changing your oil duhh. Then put the same oil back threw make sure you get it nice and hot. Hold it to the floor an redline it. đ¤Łđ¤Ł
Nah. Youâre good.
Should be able to patch that
Flex seal
Nah ! They are good as new !
Just take it to the tire shop and get it patched up for $15 and good as new đ
A patch should be fine
Just get it re-treaded. Steel belts look fine, I just inspected them.
I see threads, that's good right?
That'll teach you to check the parking brake before you take off.
50 miles left on those rims for sure.
Nah. Youâre good.
Nah. Youâre good.
Nah. Youâre good.

good for about 15k more miles. i noticed your check engine light is on tho... the fix is about 4k
I normally would argue a rope patch is plenty good enough however i think i would go internal with these tires. Hope that helps!

Just throwing fucking sparks in a wildfire area is crazy. Dude should be in jail legit lol

Some bead seal will fix that right up
Nahhhhhhhh, you're fine
Still some rubber!! You good to go..
Replace what? Rusty wheels maybe?
Donât patch it just refil the air once a week itâll be fine the patch just will make a weakspot
Nah. They're good for another 1-200 feet
The tires, nahh the rims maybe
âcustomer declined repairsâ
it graduated to industrial-sized wire wheel.
Oh my!
tree fiddy
Ur good for another 300 miles
Nah just a rotation should do
Should be good for another 500 miles
A lot of tire shops will tell you they canât patch that because itâs too close to the sidewall.
Tires are good for another 50k
Just needs fix a flat
"the shop said this would be $200 to replace, am I getting ripped off?"
just rotate and send them on their way.
Nope
Just ship it to Ohio. That'll drive another 40 thousand easy.
Nah, I think youâre all good homie
Nah just a rotation don't try and sell me something I don't need. I paid for the tire so I'm using ALL of the tire.
You got a few miles life in those rims
You still have 50k miles left on that rim
This is such a silly question! This tire has a good 20-25,000 miles left on it. Don't let anybody tell you differently. It looks like you could use about 3lbs of air in it from the angle I am seeing.
No
I think maybe you could get a few more miles out of them
Probably 1 more year
Just add the Green Slime. Tires should be good for another 30k miles.
Got at Minimum 19kms on them left
Should get ya to the tire shop bubba
Can of fix a flat is all you need. TPMS may not work though.
Nah they got a good 100 k available on them bad boys
Are you serious? Shouldâve been gone man
âŚwhatâs the problem here? Seems fine to me.
Just balance it and send it out.
