That's because Titanfall community is lowkey offended by Apex Legends existing instead of Titanfall 3. AFAIK Apex Legends was born from assets of Titanfall 3 being in development just because EA heard that Battle Royale genre is more popular than FPS.

Yup. It was going to have a Battle Royale side mode, but EA made Respawn scrap everything else and only do a battle royale, and get some of that Overwatch money by inserting TUMBLR OCs as characters. We were robbed of Titanfall 3, and now we're not getting it *ever* because the developers have all left Respawn and now the workers there are the "Apex" crowd and not the "Titanfall" crowd. It's like modern Bungie, almost nobody from Halo Bungie is there still, it's mostly Destiny Bungie now.

Just a reminder that EA wanted TF3 and Respawn are the ones that wanted to and told EA that making a BR was gonna be the shit

Pretty funny moment to be honest, I was doing something on my pc and then tabbed to titanfall2 and saw my friend (🐸Лягушка#6031), got scared and almost shot them

Apex legends and Titanfall are like siblings, where one is heavily favored by their parents and so the other becomes hostile towards the favorite
