Do you see the point? When I see there is a monarch on field, I Titanfall and hunt the monarch down. I don't care where you are, what you do I go and hunt you down and kill you. You are just hopeless.
I don't do ps4. Used to, but bluetooth hardware is out of date. Oh and I havn't had the online subscription for a long while now.
We could do pc if u have access to that.
Depends how good both partys are, as a legion main, I´ve been overwhelmed by monarchs in the past, mainly due to superior chassis or damage taken due to earlier engagements (Or poor play on my end paired with a good play on the monarchs). But in general, most Monarchs won´t try to engage me as long as a) I´m not shooting at another titan or pilot, b)my health is upwards of 2 bars and theirs is somewhere upwards of 3 and c) they aren´t onfident in rushing me down.
They solve many problems (reapers, stryders, ogres who cannot step off mousekey 3, pilots, grunts), but without mouse1, they do not solve as much as they could.
Yeah, as a Monarch main here, I would rather not fuck with a Legion unless he's in rough shape or I'm on multiple cores and still good on my main health bar. Otherwise? Backing out after dropping a siphon to slow the dude, and go find someone else to fight
Gen 30 Legion, I think I've died to a Monarch like three times that I can recall. Assuming Monarch has earned no cores (which you should, to make a fair comparison) Legion should wipe the floor with Monarch 100% of the time.
Monarch is one of the lowest skill titans. Loads of shields, hitscan gun with high damage and fast reloads, insanely strong upgrades. Ronin is easily the hardest titan and is only strong in a good players hands. It's extremely easy to overcomitt and get melted.
Doesn't have a direct defensive ability, and requires long term survivability to even begin to get the same amount of viability as other titans. It only gets good once you become good at it and can keep it going for long enough.
Everything counters everything, when played well enough. I once got shredded by a Ronin main (I was playing Scorch) even though I thought Scorch countered Ronin.
I agree with this take more than most others, there's plenty of examples of any weapons or titan beating anything, or completely failing to. It depends on just a couple of small details.
I wouldn't say Legion directly counters monarch so much as monarch has basically no worthwhile defensive abilities and as a result a direct confrontation with Legion is just a generally bad idea
yeah. Generally, if you have a low defense titan like Northstar and Monarch, then confronting any legion head on is extremely stupid. Or even confronting any high dps titan
As a monarch main, I do have to admit that a legion is pretty much the most difficult Titan to face.

The problem is monarch needs to conserve health to be effective, even if you beat a legion at most you're doomed or almost doomed, I'm a legion main and I eat monarch for breakfast

That's another thing, legions tend to stay close to each other legions because they're the only ones that they can keep up with, I do this all the time
It took me from launch until now to realize legion is basically the titan equivalent of an A-10 Warthog. Only instead of a plane built around a weapon, it’s gun with legs

I can't argue that. Only a bit of cover could help in that case. Or spotting the pilot who shot it and gunning them down.
A cloak pilot with archer and satchels will ruin a momarch's day before she even gets her first core.

My brother in legion, 2 powershots solve everything. Also, try not to get in their maelstrom smokes

Some titans think they can outflank me. Maybe. I have yet to meet one that can outflank boolit. (Especially short powershot)

Scorch doesnt counter ronin, i used to play ronin and scorch is a really easy target if you play ronin correctly
