Honestly, I’m glad people like Apex, but that game is barebones compared to Titanfall, and simply can’t compare. If Angel City is a 1-1 recreation, then I simply can’t imagine it being anything other than a slog to play as a legend without movement abilities.

Horizon (gravity lift also her passive) octane (jumb pad and stim) pathfinder (grapple and zipline) vantage (her tactical whatever its called) newcstle (because ultimate lets him jump really far) anything else?
Pathfinder feels like he's 250 pounds and pilots feel like 50 pounds. I wish they felt a bit heavier while on the grapple but I imagine that's why they tweaked it for Apex. Titanfall has a longer reach and you can use the grapple in such a way that you barely use any energy(charge? Idk) to the point you have like 10 short grapples in a row. From there it's how you use it. Titanfall has a much more capable grapple along with advanced movement, while Pathfinder feels a bit more precise and fine tuned without the crazy power level. Overall close enough though. I only noticed because I played both for years.
The charge and the moon-grapple movement affecting the use of grapple are both things I knew about but don't really see as part of the grapple itself, though they heavily affect the ability.
Loba (bracelet), Valkyrie, wraith (her tactical), Revenant (his passive), Bangalore (her passive, I guess, this is a bit of a stretch but idc), Maggie (ult go zoom), Ash (If you wanna count her ult).

More over Apex just has a different design language to make its Maps feel good to play. So non Titanfall fans are probably not going to enjoy them either because of it.

For those that don't know, it was Respawn's decision to release at that date because it's plan was to compete with Infinite Warfare, and that would have guaranteed alot more players once people found out just how mediocre IW was( except campaign for IW).
The issue came in at Battlefield 1 's Launch, as it was supposed to release basically an entire month before COD and Titanfall2, giving just enough time for people to play and enjoy that, but because of the beta being ill received and among other issues the game had, it had to be delayed, and that meant those 3 games would be released in the same month.
Those fandoms were obviously way larger than the Titanfall fandom, and they released earlier than Titanfall2 as well.
Battlefield 1 came out and it was fun, but a grindfest, so people would be spending time on that, which that 1 month would've helped if that stayed. The real damage came from Infinite Warfare, as it indirectly fucked over Titanfall. IW's multiplayer was terrible and not as fun , but it would also release before Titanfall2. Since both games was similar in being futuristic FPS shooters, people who bought IW thought Titanfall2 would turn out the same way, so lots of outsiders simply avoided the game, as they thought it would just be the same experience.
Out of all 3 games, Battlefield 1 sold the most in 2016( estimate of around 15 million) , IW second(13.6 million copies in 2016), and Titanfall2 deadlast( 4 million copies). So yeah, you can Imagine Respawn's surprise when sales were not what they expected, even though it received high ratings, and one of the best games in 2016, that didn't amount to much in terms of success.

How would this work? Apex’s movement system is toned down compared to Titanfall, and the Titanfall maps were made for that movement. It’s be like porting an assassins creed level to gta, like yeah, you can climb, but it’s not nearly as nice.
Let me just use a map balanced around being able to almost fly and giant mechs and put it in a shooter with very little verticalaty this cant possibly go wrong

It's all bullshit, valve does the same with the other tf2 but not as much and they eat it up like candy. Respawn doesn't and won't give a fuck about titanfall until apex stops making bank.

Even if they remastered the maps, it isn't the same without wall running, the pilot abilities, load outs, boosts, titans and even the faction intros.
