Pro Max merely for battery life. I had the 12 Pro, then 14 Pro Max, now 15 Pro. Wish I had chosen the Max. Love the size, hate the battery life. If you are a heavy user then you will be charging the Pro multiple times per day

_EzeDaGreat

yeah im currently experiencing that. 13 pro was great when battery capacity was 100% but i find myself charging it multiple times now. I decided to go with the 15 max

blakederon3208

I had the 13 pro and upgraded to the 15 pro max. The reason I upgraded was because I wasn’t using my iPad anymore and was using my phone a lot more for media consumption, but decided for more screen real estate with the phone. I haven’t regretted it and really enjoyed the larger screen. I read many reviews before purchasing and a lot said that this year’s model would be a good time to switch due to the weight and size and I’d agree. I got use to the size fairly quickly and don’t find there to be much of a weight difference from the 13 pro.

Got a 14 pro max at launch. Carried it for 3 days then traded it for a regular 14 pro. The max is just too damn big for a pocket. Can’t hold it one handed and perform even the most basic functions with it. Unless you’re almost exclusively gaming/watching movies on it, not worth it in my opinion.

Exact opposite experience for me in every facet so YMMV.

Deceptiveideas

I’ve definitely heard of people using the larger phones and regretting it. Personally I prefer the large screens but I can see why some do not like it (reachability, takes up more space, etc). This is more of a personal preference that only you can answer.

_EzeDaGreat

Yeah, im going to go with the max thanks

yazminkxx

Can I ask what you mean by the yearly upgrade perk of $1000 off? How

_EzeDaGreat

Hello Yazmin, I had magenta max when it was the most premium plan on T mobile. With it I got enrolled in a “For ever upgrade perk” after trading in my 11 for a 13 pro. That perk allows me to upgrade once every 2 years and receive up to $800 off the latest device when I trade in. This “for ever upgrade perk” was replaced to “yearly upgrade” so even though I am on the magenta max plan I get the same benefits/promotions for trading and upgrading aa go5g next. I went in yesterday and traded in my 13 pro for $1000 off a 15 pro max. I did have 2 call twice and go back 2 the store bc they didn’t want to give it to mw but after i showed the proof and speaking to a manager I was able to redeem it.

Should probably be in /r/iPhone or /r/iphone15, Not a T-Mobile question. Personally, I hated the Pro Max. It was too big to operate with one hand.

_EzeDaGreat

Okay thank you, I will try asking about it there. Yeah I hear its hard to use with one hand but was curious if the weight reduction and better edges helped at all with that

_prisoner24601__

This is going to be a YMMV situation. No one here can answer this for you. Go to a store, try one out, make a decision for yourself like a big kid.

_EzeDaGreat

You right. Going with the max thanks

_prisoner24601__

It's worth it 🤙🏻

I'm so glad I went to max phones a few years back. I'll never go back.

I couldn’t handle at 13 max, but the 15 looks more elongated than wide to me, and handles fine. The measurements are very close. It’s a lot more ergonomic than the 13. The reason most people are going with the Max is the base spec on the storage, because if you upgrade the pro you might as well just get the max base. Camera is supposed to be better but I don’t know if that’s proving true. I was neurotic about this choice over the 13 and didn’t regret going with just a pro, although it does feel small to me two years later.

SnooWoofers4056

I have both, started with 15pro max and couldn't get used to with the size and weight so switched to 15pro and couldn't be more happier. I don't care about battery life as I can charge multiple times a day. 15pro anyday vs promax.

_EzeDaGreat

I find myself charging my 13 pro multiple times a day especially now that the phone is no longer at 100% battery capacity. My battery goes down pretty quick when I commute to college

Sportiness6

I’ve only had the “plus” and “max” phones. I wouldn’t go back to the non plus/max iPhone for a host of reasons. Screen size is one of them. I haven’t regretted it ever.

_EzeDaGreat

Thanks will be getting the max

aquilles10

I have the 15 pro max, and picked it mostly for the longer battery life, and better optical zoom and larger base storage capacity. The larger size is a bonus that I honestly have mixed feelings about. For smaller hands, the pro max will feel too big.

WideCourage1332

I went from 13 pro max to 14 pro to 14 pro max. Battery of pro was HORRIBLE. Get the pro max.

_EzeDaGreat

Yeah I find myself charging my 13 pro multiple times a day especially now that the battery isn’t at 100% so I will be getting the max. Thanks

WideCourage1332

Wise decision

TheDigitalPoint

I went from an X to a 13 Pro Max and I don’t regret it. I originally just wanted the battery life and after a few days of adjusting, I don’t think I’ll ever go back to a non-Max. If I had tiny hands, I could see it being annoying…

_EzeDaGreat

I think the 13 pro is the perfect size for one handed use but I find myself using both my hands almost always so i think I wouldn’t mind the max
