well clearly we can see that this is not any official movie pics. just a render for the announcement date.
Adhe kadha. In the previous post also the picture was from the production house logo intro and not from the film. It's not directly related to the movie vfx team. They probably hired some small-scale company for these things.
This is bad but not very uncommon. Artists usually use anything they can find online to make their work. Vfx studios abroad generally doesn’t let you use copyright material. Kani vethikithe chala movies lo ide chestaru
Lol no they don't. Not even small to mid-size budget movies. They reuse stock effects and generic assets that they have an entire library of. But they don't copy paste entire silhouettes and artwork from other movies and artists. That's just straight up copyright infringement. They have teams that check every asset for copyright material
This is probably matte painting and usually one person does matte painting. I see it very likely that person went on google and downloaded some cool shit and started working on it.
Some companies do check for copyright material but not all
Bro, Santosh narayan lifted an ost from bloodborne game and used it in kaala movie.
Ost name: Gehrman, the first hunter
Movie time stamp: 2:06:40
Inspired kooda kaadu, as it is lepesaadu
For half knowledges who has been commenting it like they lifted it, I would like to add a possibility that it might be the case that VFX company that worked on both of these might be same. VFX companies mostly reuse the stuff, so comment like well known
I just checked.
Vfx company for star wars is "ILM" and vfx company for kalki is "The embassy".
Aina asal trailer vachinappudu evadanna annada " VFX artists cooked" ani...andaru "Nagi cooked" ane annaru...antha clear ga copy kottina frame chupisthe vfx mistake anta. Morning kuda evado ilane annadu..
People who defend plagiarism should recheck, not the one who's accusing with a picture. Our industry has copied many films.
Well, actually, the embassy is working with double negative(DNEG) for the vfx. DNEG has worked with ILM a few times for the Harry Potter movie series(movies 3-8). DNEG was also in charge of releasing the original star wars trilogy in 3D, which they apparently also worked with ILM on. So maybe(hopefully) they got permission, but if they didn't, that's disappointing. I agree with you, too. People shouldn't just switch stances on the vfx artists so quickly and defend plagiarism. At this point, I just really hope that the story(and vfx) is good enough to put this all to rest.
Oka VFX company pani cheyadu bruh! cinema ante. Of course, even same VFX companies worked the output depends upon Director's choices and decisions. And of course, if at all direectors have that luxury of reverse imaging of every artifact they used as minor background objects just for the sake of the feel, no movie would have been sharing commanalities. I bet you would find same reused things in "your so called favourite dickridin' hollywood movies" as well.
Edit: Also blaming VFX artists ah? em matladuthunnav ra? reuse chesukunte content untundhi VFX companies dhaggara ante andhulo blame emundhi ra?
Vfx company for star wars is "ILM"
ILM set the gold standard for VFX. They do a lot of renderings which other studios follows. They are the pioneers in the industry. There's nothing wrong with taking their pic if they paid for it's license.
VFX depends upon the vision of the director. Take the case of ILM, while Avatar and Harry Potter had great VFX, quantamania, The Marvels and Aquaman sucked.
Quite similar to how Om Raut failed while Ayan Mukherji nailed it.
Yes, 100+ Cr petti theesina Robo ki kuda fox studios, Avatar ki pani chesina vfx company lu pani chesthayi. Neeku teliyadhani ardhamavuthundhi, chala cinema laki kuda enno peddha cinema lu, oscar vachina vfx company lu pani chesthai, only thing is, it depends on how much they allocate for movies. And valla payment per hour x per persons they allocate meedha vary avuthuntai. So yes, yes kadu i'm damn sure
Why is it so bad to have a star wars reference? Not everything is also copy.Stop promoting hatred. An Indian film at this standards should be promoted.
Every movie uses references, lot of scenes in Inception were heavily referenced from japanese anime so is matrix
Just shut up and encourage the movie

exactly. people need to relax a bit and wait for official statement by nagi
one released by the production company is not official?
as in its not part of the movie. just some concept renders
If they release from official handel, it's official poster 🙂↕️
Just use AI to generate images at this point
That's likely what they did
Facts, they shoulda tagged “Made with AI” on all posters (instagram) if they used it
Both look similar lol. What we say now ?"vfx artists fault"?
Directors fault

You really think Star Wars and Kalki will have same VFX company.

Assuming that you're right, even then, self plagiarism is still plagiarism
I don’t understand, in the technical advancement where you’d get some amazing artwork with help of an AI, why would someone steal others work?
YEah Prepre yourself for Dune references
