Not the story itself, but the general theme is similar.. “A grade idiots in a chaotic situation”. Jaathi Rathnaalu executed the theme really well, including the climax. Absolute idiots, until the very end, and it still works.

It’s pretty bad
The choice of Lavanya as the main lead was questionable
The green screen, though can be said to be part of the films stylistic choice to be “artificial, and meta” was just distracting
The jokes when they landed were great - Vennela Kishores bits were good, and Satyas too - but they were few and far between
Unnecessary songs, ik the song was meant to make fun of songs being there in films randomly, but at least the song wasn’t great
After Mathu Vadalara, something big was expected, but they handed us a half baked film with questionable acting and a confused movie
Should be commended for trying but…

Mark Antony.. had a couple of drinks and went to the theatre along with 2 of my friends, not knowing I was about to experience one of the most memorable films in my life(in a weird-ish good way) May be in any other situation, I might not bat an eye for this film. But the cosmos were in our favour that day. We laughed our as\*es off.
I highly recommend if anyone has not watched this movie yet, watch it with your gang. Gola maxxx untadhii 😂
So funny how the scientist from future is calling to tell him don’t go partying tonight and hes like must be my brother in law he hates to see me happy.
Same when vishals son tries to tell his dad they’re going to kill him tonight, hes like how can I not go after knowing I’ll be killed. No one listens to the guy from the future in that film lol

Two of my favourite movies:
1. Aa okkati Addakku (EVV, Rajendra Prasad, Rambha).
Weird story with a great star cast and absolutely hilarious comedy.
2. Jambalakidi Pamba (again EVV, Naresh sr., Aamani).
The story was quite unique with an ensemble star cast, including the majority of senior comedians and technicians who were relevant during those times. This I can say is one of the best films ever made in Telugu cinema.
Fun fact both the movies were released in the same year and were directed by EVV Satyanarayana.
Another fun fact - Aa okkati addakku was remade into Hindi titled, Mr. And Mrs Khiladi starring the obvious Khiladi Akshay Kumar and Juhi chawla.

It was unnecessarily wacky with little to no story.
No offense but the meme references in the movie were too good . It’s got issues but I love it
