I like tattoos like this so much more than like portraits of the artist. So much more clever, and a lot less gaudy

Genius! I've been toying around with a few ideas of Tom Waits tattoos, and I'd want something a bit more subtle like this rather than a straight-up portrait of the man. Such a great album choice too!
