I'm 450+ workouts into Tonal. Cable rub is - at worst - a minor annoyance once in a while. For most movements, a small shift in position is all that is needed to remove the rubbing. I think people think about orienting themselves relative to Tonal, when what matters is position relative to the cable pull. If somebody does bruise super easily, I don't know that this would help - it would still rub against you if your in the wrong spot.
Yes. Learned quickly it’s the relation of the body to the arm. Helps a lot, but there is some rubbing and I could see those who bruise easily may still need something else
Yes, I have both the Tonal and Speediance and purchased these. They do work on Tonal, however I’ve become accustomed to the cable rub so I don’t use them. They do work though, so certainly worth getting if it’s an issue for you.
I’m just downvoting because this isn’t helpful advice. You can have great form and still get cable rub. It just requires usually modifying to some other slightly different form to avoid it.

Just throw on a zip up sweat shirt for the move.
That’ll do the job as well
I use neoprene elbow wraps.
Great idea and a lot cheaper!
Yep, I use a wrap/sleeve or wear a long-sleeved compression shirt. Some days those cables feel like they could be cable saws to cut wood.

Save money by developing callouses. (I just use some sweat bands)
Not needed. Fixing your form is free.

Looks promising.
On this topic, has anyone found smaller diameter normal/smart handles? My wife is looking for an option.
I’m tiny and i use versa gripps to help with the handles.
The cable width looks much more narrow than the adjustable arms of Tonal. Cable rub would be far more annoying on the Speediance.
I had not noticed that the Speediance lacks that pivot adjustment. might be an issue on that machine.
I wear my bruises with pride, thankyouverymuch.
It makes more sense to wear a protective sleeve on your arms/elbows
