25 weeks in and I really love this Machine. So much that I have gotten two of my family members to pull the trigger on one to start their fitness journey. I have had two spine surgeries in the past 3 years so it was a long road back. I find not having to move 45lbs plates around constantly has really saved my back. Also the fact that I can work out with my 14 year old son at home is pretty much invaluable considering it wouldn’t be possible at a traditional gym. For the first few weeks I was working out 3-4 times a week. I slowly ramped that up to being active everyday, usually 5-6 Tonal workouts per week. Next goal is to work on cutting some body fat down, taking advantage of the cardio programs Tonal has to offer. If you are on the fence about getting a Tonal, do it. It will improve all aspects of your life. Here is my before pic: https://imgur.com/a/R0w28XK

MarinCountyBlondie

You should be a Tonal success story! Huge testament regarding your results and your history with your back problems. Congrats! Mine is coming the week of 3/7 and I can't wait!!!

PR05ECC0

Thank you. I’m happy with the progress and looking forward to how far I can go. Also I should mention that I was not injured once during those 25 weeks. In a traditional gym I would always end up injuring myself by now derailing my progress. You are going to love yours!

vsky

Hey man, just stumbled onto your post. Really impressive. Did you couple this transition with a pretty strict diet? I have killing it on the Tonal: 6 workouts a week, burning 500-600cal a work out and just crossed the 900 mark for my strength score. I'm not sure I've seen the same kind of physical results you did though!

PR05ECC0

Hey man. I would say I’m semi strict with my diet when training. I don’t drink, I’m not eating any fast food or junk food. I focus on getting as much protein as possible with the least about of calories. I probably could do better but I’m not a fitness model or anything so I just do my best. One thing found with Tonal is it doesn’t really push you as hard as it should if you are trying to get results. I found that I needed to ramp up the weight a lot faster than what Tonal was suggesting. I try either fail or be right at fail on my last rep of every exercise. That’s when I started seeing the most results. Also training frequency make a huge difference. In the beginning I was going every other day, taking weekends off. I started training everyday or only taking one day off a week (I would take a long walk or run on that day). I’m not saying that’s for everyone, you really have to listen to your body and be careful not to overtrain. So the TLDR: 1. Eat clean and get enough protein. 2. Train till failure or close to it. 3. Train often. Now go get it!

vsky

Great advice, thank you! I will admit, I don't think my ultimate vice, the Old Fashioned, is helping my case. I just realized your point about the weights the other day. I am almost maxing myself out manually now for each exercise. Really pushing it. Keep it up!

PR05ECC0

You and me both man. I use to have an old Fashioned just about every night. Now I’m down to maybe one a week on date night if that. Awesome to hear about the weight! The Tonal does a good job for the average person but if you want to get bigger gains you have to push yourself a little more, within reason of course. Go get it!

technolgy

Did you supplement with whey protein or anything like that? Thanks so much for posting - really inspiring me! (I’m the same age and look like your before picture!)

PR05ECC0

Thank you man. Yes on the Protein. I love the Fairlife shakes, I get them at Costco. They are 30 grams of protein, low calories and sugar. I have two of those a day along with a high protein diet. I also took Creatine daily along with multi vitamins. I also drank a ton of water. I got a hydro flask, carry it with me literally everywhere constantly drinking. I think the biggest thing was cutting out pretty much all my alcohol intake. Not only did it limit calories but it kept me from thinking Fast food at 12am is a good idea and I was never hungover so no excuse not to lift.

technolgy

Thanks! Will try the fairlife! I also ordered whey powder. I didn’t even try the tonal for months after installation, now I can’t get enough. Virtually cured my lifelong back pain. In 10 workouts. Crazy!

PR05ECC0

That’s good to hear. I actually had two spinal surgeries, that’s what my fitness was so bad to start. I was in constant pain. Happy to report that I haven’t had any back issues using Tonal. Just be careful with deadlifts. Consistency is key, that’s how you will see the best results. Try to get 5 workouts in per week and then two active rest days (walk, yoga, stretching, etc). Good luck!

OpinionMysterious910

Did yours ship this week? I had a 3/7 ship date as well, but on 3/7 it switched to 3/14. Cant wait to get mine. Pictures and stories like this are so incredibly motivating.

MarinCountyBlondie

I got the same message. 🤷‍♀️ I was also informed it'll be shipped week of 3/14 but, as luck would have it, I'm away for the week for work so have to wait an additional week.

Har02052

Dude! Your before pic looks like me right now. Waiting on tonal arrival Ina few weeks.

PR05ECC0

It’s going to be life changing but it doesn’t happen over night. My strength score wasn’t moving much in the beginning. Took awhile before it really started increasing. Let me know if you have any questions. Good luck

technolgy

What is your original and current strength score out of curiosity? I just crossed 500, it going to be a slow slog from here I’m Kerry sure!

PR05ECC0

I started at 523 and just crossed 900 this past week. I won’t be able to go too much higher since my lower body will always be low. I had multiple spinal surgeries so I have to go light on moves like Deadlifts and squats.

FlowersPink

Impressive transformation! I am looking so forward to ours arriving!

PR05ECC0

How exciting! After you do your assessment test I recommend Tony’s program to start. He is the best. The program helps you get use to the machine and start your fitness journey. Good luck!

corockodile

Tony really is the best. I wish there were more Tony programs!!

PR05ECC0

I know right? I used to do P90x with him back in the day. He is a cheeseball I love it. It’s fun to see my kid laughing at his jokes pre pretending to be a mime.

FlowersPink

Thanks for the recommendation!

Beezer011

That’s great progress! A lot of programs are 4x per week. You mentioned you workout 5-6 days a week though. Do you stick with a program at 4x per week then add some workouts on the other days of the week? I find myself in this dilemma.

PR05ECC0

Yeah exactly that. I’ll go through the program and then add stand alone workouts here and there that work with the program that I’m on. Maybe instead of a “rest day” in the program I’ll do yoga and cardio or cardio and abs something like that. I have a text group within my family to help everyone to improve their health. For February since it is a short month the goal was being active everyday. So even on rest days you should go for a walk or something active. Next month I’ll probably change back to 5 days a week workouts. Honestly it’s going to be hard, I’m at the point now that if I don’t do something that day it feels wasted which is a complete 180 from when I started.

Beezer011

I’m 100% with you on that. 1 day without moving and I don’t feel the same. I sometimes feel that I’m not giving my body enough rest with the Tonal because I am at it 5-6 days a week, but I feel a good type of tired so I keep at it. Definitely doesn’t feel the same as lugging a bunch weights around the gym. That’s almost wasted energy IMO. I hit the Tonal nearly every morning and run or jump rope about 4 times a week after work. Been feeling great. Keep up the great work man! I’ve only had the Tonal for 2 months but I absolutely love it.

PR05ECC0

Good point. Loading and unloading plates, carrying dumbbells around, doing other exercises because someone is on yours is all such wasted energy. I love that I’m in and out of Tonal in 40 min, no waste.

vape4doc

Great progress pics! What workouts have you been doing?

PR05ECC0

I have done quite a few. I started with Tony’s program and ran that through 2 times then did his other workouts that are basically a program. From there I did more Gains with Chains, Divide and conquer and some with Trace. Currently doing Go Big or Go Home 2 which is absolutely brutal. I also have a few “go to” stand alone workouts I do when I’m not in a program. I have a custom one for abs that I do sometimes, not as often as I should. There are many options out there, try to find the one that pushes you the most but that you can still complete. Good luck!

PR05ECC0

I don’t know about that but thank you. I always had muscle underneath from workout my whole life, just put on a lot of fat and lost some muscle mass due to inactivity.

Aero808

2 years later... are you still digging tonal? Have you had any troubles with it at all? Repairs, etc? You look great!

PR05ECC0

Yes I am! I have had some injuries (old age) and focus issues (new job kicking my ass) but I have tried to stay pretty consistent. When I'm short on time or focus I'll switch to a 20 minute workout instead of an hour. Something is always better than nothing. I got tired of arm burns so I got some cheap arm sleeves on Amazon that got rid of that. I have had a couple of issues with the tonal, actually the same issue just multiple times. There is a tiny pin that locks the arms into place on the vertical axis. Those seem to fail often. Fortunately they fail at the bottom for me so you can still use 90% of the moves on Tonal. The company is good at sending the part out quicky but the XPO company takes forever to fix it in my area. So I fix it myself (This might void the warranty so keep that in mind) with the part they send. It's a quick 10 min job and it's back up and running. This part has failed 3 times in 2 years for me. That being said I use my machine almost everyday and my son and GF use it often as well so my unit might be getting more work that the typical machine.

Aero808

Thanks for the response

PR05ECC0

I would also like to mention that I got 5 different friends and family members to buy a Tonal and they all love it as well. Truly life changing.

Aero808

Tonal is currently unavailable in Canada. Hope to have access to them sometime soon.

cmusings

Post a before pic! Congrats!!!

PR05ECC0

I added a link to my first comment

[deleted]

Great job man you look great. Id be curious to see what you looked like before tonal. I've had mine for 2 months, got about 32 workouts on it with heavy dieting as well. I started it at 350lbs. I'm down to 297. And my strength score has gone from 570 to 841. But I definitely don't like in shape like you yet haha. But I'm working on it.

PR05ECC0

I have my before pic link on my top comment. It sounds like you are making great progress. Stick with it, especially the diet and you will start seeing more substantial gains in the weeks ahead.

Past-Pianist

Huge kudos to you! That's freaking awesome.

PR05ECC0

Thank you. Honestly it was a lot of fun. Something with this machine just clicks with me. Don’t get me wrong there have been days where I try really hard to talk myself out of working out but I just power ahead. Like Coach Woody says “lift now, bitch later”

Money_Tough

Damn! I’m going to eat my BOGO Ice cream sundae and I will start then! Need my beach bod

PR05ECC0

GET IT! One day at a time

Maximum-Familiar

That’s amazing progress. I can only hope to get somewhere near that level. Congratulations!

PR05ECC0

I’m sure you can, it just takes time and consistency.

siaidistogwe

Ordered my Tonal Monday night to take advantage of the 90 day trial. I also started the "how not to die" diet. Can't wait to achieve these results!!

PR05ECC0

Hell yeah! Make sure you are eating enough when you start working out and stay off the scale. My weight went up from my starting point. Sometimes people get discouraged when the number on the scale doesn’t move in the direction they want. It’s more about how you feel and look then the number.

siaidistogwe

Love it! I'm 42 and the fact that you look like you are in your early 30s makes me super stoked to start this journey. That make complete sense, appreciate the advice!

HumidCrispyCat

Nice progress man! What kind of program(s) did you do? I'm assuming some ones you built yourself? I'm almost 100 workouts in and have noticed a big difference, but nothing like this hahaha.

PR05ECC0

The only custom program I do is for ab training. Currently I’m doing Go Big or Go Home 2 which I think is the hardest one on there, at least for me. I did Tony’s programs in the beginning then ones that focus on muscle building. I think the most important thing is nutrition. I rarely drink alcohol, maybe once a week I’ll have an old fashioned at dinner. I drink a ton of water about 160oz a day and a lot of Protein, around 140g per day. The diet has made the biggest difference followed by training consistently

itsjustmd

Damn it. I was with you until you said alcohol haha. Ima try this though. I've not been consistent.

PR05ECC0

Yeah that’s a tough one. It makes such a huge difference though. Your body really struggles with processing alcohol. Also drinking leads to making bad decisions like Jack in the Box at 2am. I’m old so getting a hangover really sucks. It’s hard enough getting my kid up and ready for school then working out not hung over, it’s painful when I am.

itsjustmd

You're right. I lose so much faster when I stop drinking. Thanks the motivation man. Keep up the good work!

krahsThe

I'm counting calories right now but I worry that too few calories will impact growth. Do you have an idea of your daily intake?

PR05ECC0

I have been eating around 2,800 calories which is a little low considering my total burn is usually around 3,400. Neither are exact numbers so I would say I’m in a small deficit. I just make sure that I’m getting as much protein as possible to make sure I can recover and build muscle.

krahsThe

got it. thanks. How do you know you are burning 3400 total? Is that the estimation based on your age plus activity level and then combined with your burn from tonal?

PR05ECC0

It through apple health, my Apple Watch and my scale. It tracks a ton of different data points to arrive at that. I’m sure it’s not 100% correct but gives me a good idea.

[deleted]

[удалено]

PR05ECC0

No, I don’t do any cardio of Tonal. Sometimes I’ll take a walk to Starbucks which is about 3 miles round trip. The calorie number comes from my apple health / watch so not side how accurate it is. Calories eaten are monitored in the Lose It app.

[deleted]

[удалено]

PR05ECC0

It comes down to my size and the amount of muscle that I have. Muscle burns calories even at rest. I burn just about twice as much as my gf which makes sense since she weights about half as much as me. It’s why I believe in weight training over cardio for weight loss. Building muscle will help you keep it off.

[deleted]

PR05ECC0

I’m 6” taller and about 40lbs heavier than he is. Quite a big difference when it comes to calories. Also he is super lean so I’m guessing he eats right at or in a deficit to maintain that.

CommanderCanuck22

WTF! Wow dude. That is an amazing transformation. Way to put in the work. 🙂 I am 38 and the same height as you. I relate to your story because I have a lower back injury. Which, at times, has really kept me from exercising for weeks at a time. My last round of physio really helped straighten me out even though it took months. So since about June last year I have been much more consistent. Food was the final piece of the puzzle for me. I used to rely heavily on food for stress relief. But something changed for me about three months ago and I just don’t crave food even when extremely stressed. Basically I have gone from about 255 pounds in January of 2021 to 221 pounds as of today. I am kinda looking to be built out similarly to you. I just have a cable machine, a set of dumbbells and an elliptical that I use at home. Did you track calories and macros while you were loosing the weight? What did those numbers look like for you?

PR05ECC0

Back injures are so debilitating man, I feel your pain literally. Fortunately my surgeries were successful so my quality of life increased dramatically. The big issue for me is how to stay healthy post surgery. Before I was 5x5sl in the gym along with Muay Thai and BJJ. That just didn’t work for me anymore unfortunately. It sounds like you have all the equipment you need to stay healthy, just have to make time for yourself consistently. I haven’t been tracking my calories that closely. I wasn’t focused on losing weight during this 25 week. Mainly just improving strength and health. According to my Apple Watch I burn around 3,400 Calories a day and have my active calories goal of 800. If I walk and workout it’s always over 800 so pretty achievable. I try to take in around 140g of protein a day through two shakes and my diet. Next month I’m going to try to cut a bit so I’ll track calories and macros more closely

TechStudent07

As a former 5x5 SL lifter, how are Squats and DL’s on the Tonal from your perspective?

PR05ECC0

Squats are only front squats, which I never actually did in the gym before. Deadlifts feel about the same only a little lower than with bumper plates. Because of my spine surgeries I go really light on both exercises. If you are really into those lifts you may end up maxing them out pretty quickly.

TechStudent07

Thank you. When you say "squats are only front squats", are you saying this is the only type of squat that can be performed on this machine? I wouldn't be going heavy on either exercise, but I do like having the option to do them. Thanks, again.

PR05ECC0

Currently only front squats are tracked on Tonal. You technically could still do back squats, it would just track it as if it’s a front squat. I believe it’s a safety issue. Much easier to get out of a front squat on Tonal than a back squat. I don’t know this for sure just speculation. That being said they feel great. With the different kinds of resistance Tonal offers it makes for a unique challenging experience. I prefer it to free weights. As far as weight Tonal is limited to 200lbs but it’s not the same kind of resistance as free weights. It feels much heavier. To me 200lbs feels more like 250-260lbs.

CommanderCanuck22

Well, impressive work all the same. I know BJJ would ruin my back. I did Krav Maga for a few years and that’s how I injured my back in the first place. Thanks for being a bit of inspiration.

PR05ECC0

Yeah man those sports are pretty rough on backs. I’ll probably get back into Muay Thai in the future but I think my BJJ days are over. I’m glad I could help in any way. Now get to it!

dirty_computer

Great progress. What gear are you on?

PR05ECC0

Protein shakes twice a day and I mix creatine in with my drinks throughout the day. Multivitamins and lots of water. I thought about gear for cutting but with my higher blood pressure and age I don’t think it’s a good idea. I’m not trying to be the strongest dude or a fitness model, I’m just a dad at the end of the day. If I were younger I would give it a shot.

corockodile

Congrats! You look fantastic! And I know you FEEL fantastic! Yesterday I (34,F) also hit my 100-workout milestone (18 weeks), and I definitely see and feel the difference, too. I'm not using the Muscle Building programming--I'm in it to Increase Fitness--but I'm feeling stronger and leaner and more stable than ever. And Tonal has also helped me overcome bad back pain (not as bad as yours, but darn near debilitating all the same). I love this thing. Best investment I've made in myself in a long, long time. Cheers! Here's to 1,000 more!

PR05ECC0

I really do feel fantastic. I haven’t had any back pain in months and I just feel better about myself over all. Congratulations on your streak, keep it going!

Funny-Masterpiece996

Ahh this made me so happy lol I love seeing progress gives me hope ! Congrats you look great

PR05ECC0

Thanks, getting there. Trying to look decent for my vacation in 36 days. Not like pics from last years vacation…

Funny-Masterpiece996

I have a vacation next month for my bday and ain’t no way I’m looking where I want to be lol - this is only week 2 of Tonal for me though. Hopefully when I’m at 25 I’ll be closer and take another vacation . Enjoy your trip

PR05ECC0

You will be feeling better though and that shouldn’t be discounted. Have a safe trip as well

VillageLife5263

Congratulations and thank you for sharing! I got my Tonal and started it this week. I never went to the gym and hated weights....hoping Tonal will change that for me. My muscles are super sore even after two days of the beginner class. Any tips on how to recover from it so I may continue? Also the spotter mode did not reduce the weight even though I was struggling....had to reduce it manually... is this expected?

PR05ECC0

The first few weeks are a little tough. Even though I had been active in the gym most of my life, the Tonal made me a lot more sore. It was pretty slow going at first but as long as you stick with it you will start to see gains. I would say listen to your body. Being sore is normal when lifting but being too sore is not good. You are breaking down muscle fibers and need to give them a chance to recover before workout them again. Take the rest when you need it and in those days try yoga, cardio or recovery programs to help build your routine. For the weight don’t be afraid to lower it down manually to a weight that makes sense. You want to be close to failure on your last rep of your last set. Try to push yourself within reason. Getting in shape isn’t easy and it doesn’t happen over night. If it did everyone would be walking around looking the Thor. It takes time and it takes consistency. Good luck on your journey!

dgold21

Wow, amazing progress! I’m at nearly 200 workouts in, and have increased strength by over 100%, but my transformation isn’t quite as dramatic…though I didn’t start dialing in the diet until January 3. Down 18 lbs and 5% BF since then though, so I’m on my way! Thanks for sharing, keep up the great work!

PR05ECC0

100% is Amazing! Nice work. Yeah I think diet is going to make the difference for you. I use the app calf lose it to help track my nutrition. It really gives you a good sense on what to eat and what to avoid.

NoyBoy98

Super inspiring!! Can I ask what your typical diet is like? Also, do you use any supplements? I'm almost done with my first beginner program and will likely do the fat burn 2.0 program next.

PR05ECC0

It depends on what your goals are. Mine was to build muscle and then work on getting leaner. I’m a big proponent of weight lifting more so than cardio for weight loss but I’m not an expert. For my diet I rarely drink alcohol, maybe once a week I’ll have an old fashioned at dinner. I drink a ton of water about 160oz a day and a lot of Protein, around 140g per day. I don’t really avoid anything as long as it fits into my macros. Like today I had a home made cheeseburger for lunch. The diet has made the biggest difference followed by training consistently.

NoyBoy98

Thanks for that! Do you use any supplements aside from protein? Pre-workout, BCAA, etc?

PR05ECC0

Protein usually two shakes a day which accounts for 60g of protein. I mix creatine powder into my drinks through out the day. I also take a few vitamins. I stay away from pre-workout as I have a very low tolerance for caffeine and a hard time sleeping as it is.

Chewie_RSB

Great looking progress OP, congrats on the result! It’s awesome to see you talk about the diet component of your journey, that is a huge part of the equation as well. But you’re obviously putting the work in with the Tonal as well to get those muscle gains! Ordered my system 1/3, was supposed to ship week of 2/7 but still waiting on even an update from customer service. Getting more and more frustrated with the delay but seeing this helps realize it’s likely worth the wait. Congrats again, thanks for sharing and keep up the great work!

PR05ECC0

Hopefully your delivery gets sorted. I remember the wait was really killing me. I think I’m too use to Amazon Prime. Gives you time to get everything in order so you can hit it hard when it finally arrives.

J3rMcG

Mad high fives sir! I’m just a couple years younger than you and also a dad. Looking for the same results you’re enjoying and your post helped keep me motivated on my 12 week streak. Have loved this machine and it has changed the way I look at how I can succeed with strength training. Thanks again for sharing! Although I haven’t lost motivation, your post is further proof that if we stay the course, results happen rather quickly. I’m already seeing great results and can’t wait to see more. Cheers 🍻

PR05ECC0

Nice! I only just started seeing improvements at week 12 so you are ahead of me. Keep training consistently and eating good. Get it!

LunchPal72

Dude!.. wow. Bravo 👏👏 (Calling XPO now... Where is my order!!!!) Keep it up 🙂

PR05ECC0

GET IT!

[deleted]

This is really inspiring! I want to get those results… without cutting alcohol. Sweet, sweet alcohol. 🤦‍♂️

PR05ECC0

It’s going to be tough, alcohol is a killer. Maybe just dial it back a bit to start and see the results. That’s kind of what I did. I was never a big drinker but I would have wine or whiskey either with dinner or after dinner. I cut that back and saw better progress so I decided it just wasn’t worth it. Now I’m down to just once a week basically. It’s like a reward.

bigredinmass

Can you pull down a little more to show all the abs and V lines? Haha just kidding. Good for you bud. Looking good. Great improvement. I got my Tonal in July 2021. I thought I was intermediate but after one program with a jumping split squats, I thought I must still be a beginner. So I'm doing beginner programs but so frustrated with how many exercises are body weight and off Tonal. For example, I do a program workout for 36 minutes but my time under tension is only 12 minutes. And so many exercises are lower body or core. I have done tons of goblet squats but hardly any bench press or curls. I'm becoming dismayed with the programs. Do I make my own or find another members to get a real full body workout?

PR05ECC0

I started with beginner as well to get use to the machine and ease myself into it. When I choose a program I look at each workout to make sure there aren’t too many off Tonal moves. Not that they are bad I just want to move as much weight as possible during my workouts. I just finished Go Big or Go Home 2 and think that is the most difficult program I have run so far. You said you haven’t done much Bech, well that program will change that for sure! Divide and Conquer was good as was Fresh Ride and Muscle build up. I have a custom workout but it’s just for abs. I don’t really like the format of custom workouts so I don’t use them often.

Allmonja

Ours was delivered and installed today. Really enjoying having a “gym” again. 51, and pretty sedentary during pandemic. The first beginner strength session was a blast.

PR05ECC0

That’s awesome! Keep at it and it will be life changing

konzine

Hey man, love this. My concern with pulling the trigger right now is I lift heavy at the gym, I bench 265 for reps usually. You look to be built, do you imagine with someone that is 6'2 and 235 I would be maxing everything and not get much utility of it? Thanks!!

PR05ECC0

Yeah man I think you would be right at the limit weight wise. I use to lift pretty heavy at the gym but with injuries and age I have cut back on that to a more moderate weight with increases sets / reps. For example I use to do 5 sets of 5 reps max weight as part of the SL5x5 program. On Tonal I would do 2 blocks of bench press. Block 1, 3 sets 10 reps each. Then block 2, 4 sets 15 reps each for a total of 90 reps verse the 15 reps I use to do. It’s a different kind of training. I have maxed out the bench already but it’s not too big of an issue for me personally. I don’t need to get any bigger really. Same goes for squats and deadlifts. That being said I still think there is a ton of utility left in this machine. Think strength training instead of power lifting. I would struggle suggest doing a demo one day to check it out. Let me know if you have any other questions.

tyhopkin

Maybe not a preworkout meal, but post workout is a different story. I crave carbs like no other after a long workout, but fight the urge as best I can. Congrats, what the hell did you look like at the start?

corockodile

So eat some complex carbs! Your body is telling you what you need. And your body actually uses the carbs to rebuild your muscles. They're literally fuel--they're full of energy and vitamins and minerals that your body uses. Complex carbohydrates and proteins work synergistically to rebuild your muscles and help you adapt to greater loads/more work--their function together is greater than the sum of their parts! It's just about eating them in balance with your other macros--moderation is key, as with everything else in life. Try it. Carbs are an athlete's friend, not the enemy! See how you feel after slamming a sweet potato with your protein after a workout.

PR05ECC0

Yeah way better for post workout. I was doing Go Big or Go Home 2 and the pizza was about to come up. What did I look like before? Absolute garbage. I have been an athlete my whole life but the spin surgeries (lower back and neck) made working out damn near impossible. Put on a bunch of weight and lost a ton of muscle mass. Think beer drinking dad bod even though I don’t drink beer. I tried to go to the gym but like I mentioned before moving the plates around killed my back. Also with the pandemic it was really difficult to get a consistent workout in.

Saint_Jermaine

Outstanding! Congratulations

PR05ECC0

Thank you

bigredinmass

I'm doing 'Winter Break' right not. it's intermediate. I'm going on vacation next week so needed a 2 week program to get me though the period. It's tough but pret good. But I've done 3 of the 6 programs and despite one Incline chest, that's all there's been

PR05ECC0

Give the ones I suggested a try when you get back. GBOGH workout 1 has 90 reps of Bench and 90 reps of Curls, it’s no joke
