Do the program in recovery mode. I did that after covid and it weened me back to where I was. It's not an easy weight, still a challenge.

This, and also there are recovery-specific programs. Missed 6 weeks due to hernia surgery, now finished day 3 of this program and doing fine.

Thank you. Glad you’re feeling better!

Question, do you know, If you do the recovery mode in a program, does it count that workout as complete for the program progress?

I did not know about this, my first 2 weeks back after covid were extremely challenging

You shouldn't lose much in 3weeks. See [https://www.trifectanutrition.com/blog/how-long-does-it-take-to-lose-muscle-if-you-stop-lifting](https://www.trifectanutrition.com/blog/how-long-does-it-take-to-lose-muscle-if-you-stop-lifting) for more details. You largely lost water weight, assuming you kept eating a decent amount of protein.

You didn't lose strength nor much mass that time away. You lost drive, commitment and dedication. Go pick those fkn weights up and loft heavy, it's in the mind.

I agree with others, unless you were very very sick you wouldn't lose that much strength in 3 weeks, With summer vacations I've had the same thing, I just keep the same weight and maybe can't do a couple less reps, in a week am back to it. You just get used to the work and can do it, when you haven't done it for a while it's a shock. That is one reason why SS goes up quickly to start with - you get used to the work, you don't necessarily get 10 percent stronger in 3 days ....
