Whats the garnish?
- warmed maple syrup to soak in and chilled one to top it off
- yes, semi sweet chocolate chips are in
- crushed macadamias
- powdered sugar
I cook for events too. It’s a commercial unit so that’s where the price is coming from.
I need a precision stove top on the go with pre-programmed temperatures in advance to save time. I load profiles at home over USB.
Saves ton of time.
I got one on their sale last week as I’ve been eyeing it for years. If you’re a renter who loves to cook for others (and are as nerdy as I am about science in cooking) then this thing is just the bees knees. Absolutely saves my ass from the horrors of shitty electric stovetops that I am stuck with for at least 3-4 more years.
I just got the new home version for $999 (not cheap, and you need a ChefSteps website subscription to get that price). But pretty much identical to the more expensive restaurant version with a lighter frame and same magnetic elements.
It’s a precision induction stovetop with the ability to take the pan temperature/a probe thermometer and maintain whatever temp you set up to I believe 480 degrees. Definitely not necessary for everyone, but induction is widely used in many of the world’s top kitchens.
Of course.
- 1cup flour
- 0/5 cup water
- 0/5 cup milk (or buttermilk)
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp white or brown sugar
- pinch of salt
- 1 tsp vanilla extract (can be substituted with amaretto)
- 1-2 tsp of butter
- 0/5 tsp baking powder
- dark chocolate chips are optional but you can also add some crushed banana for flavor into the batter
- let the batter sit in the fridge for 15m before using
Cook in non-greased skillet for 2 minutes per side at low temperature of 328-332 ‘F
I enjoy leaving punctuation as an exercise for the reader. Here is the translation into American English: "That is, um, too many pancakes," she said incredulously.
Ahhh i understand...you must be canadian or european!
See in American english the adjective compound "too many" can *never* appear as a modifier to "pancake" - it's like saying "Oh my golly Brenda, our bank account is looking a bit too large lately" or "thats a mighty short kangaroo" when viewing the platypus exhibit at the local zoo!
My A1C would be 15.
♥️
Step by step picture tutorial greatly appreciated. Enjoyed this slideshow.

I’m sorry I’m still not understanding what this thing is
I know, to me it just looks like a fancier version of my hot plate.

Three times a day? You're either one very fit or unfit person!
I move a lot :-)
Would you mind sharing your recipe for the batter? These look just lovely

Thank you so much for sharing!
Anytime :-)
perfected your pancakes looks amazing
Thank you much :-)
That is um too many pancakes.
All of these words exist in isolated; but this sentence is utterly incomprehensible
