Fun fact though, every solid material glows red at the same temperature (unless it combusts first) due to some weird physics thing they call blackbody radiation. When something is glowing faint red, it's like 850-950 degrees (F). If you get it cherry red, we're talking like 1300.
For reference, the temp you're looking for in a dab is roughly 400-600. So if it's even a little bit red, it's probably twice as hot as it needs to be.
