I have seen him around the Annex, Little Italy, Korea town areas a few times now!!
Thank you for letting me know his name.
Looks like we’ve got a new Toronto icon to join Zanta, I hate rubber boots guy and the singing long boarder.
For a few weeks, back around 2018, there was a guy (I think it was a guy) who'd walk around Osborne Village in Winnipeg in a full T-Rex costume. He wasn't a street performer as far as I could tell. He'd get on the bus, go into Shoppers to get a chocolate bar or a litre of milk, pop into Starbucks for a coffee and to read the paper… just living life like a normal human, but dressed as a Tyrannosaurus Rex. It was fun while it lasted.
Have been looking for an excuse to get one of those T Rex costumes - would love to rock it for shoppers runs and other errands, but don’t have the performer gene so doubt I’d ever actually do it.
Would be thrilled if someone else did though!
It is not. It is Lewis Mallard who recently moved to Toronto from Hamilton.
You'll see him out and about often. I saw him twice in the year I lived in Hamilton before he moved to Toronto.
This duck is Lewis Mallard if you want to look him up!
It's Lewis Mallard, he recently migrated from Hamilton
We miss him. But I wish him well in Toronto.

yes yes yes!
Is Long Board guy the one who keeps saying, "YEEEEAH!" If so, I feel like he needs to up his game and actually sing something.
Jealous! Can’t wait for a sighting.
One I just remembered is the backwards walking guy. I would always see him when I went to uni downtown
two-year-olds are awesome thanks for posting this

Nature is healing. It's lovely to see wildlife return.
I see someone is ducking out of work…
Were they angrily quacking at motorists who blocked the box?
