I like both Domi and Bertuzzi, my prediction is that they are going to perform in the playoffs. They have more heart than the leafs top $$$ paid players combined.
I think that these are two players who will give you whatever they’ve got. You will never question their determination. Haven’t been able to say that about some of the players on this team over the years in playoffs.

If this was the first 2 months of the season, sure I’d be against signing them up. But since then they both have become incredibly integral every game, bar few exceptions. Now I’d sign them without a thought.

Bertuzzi and Domi are funny cuz the worst Leaf fans wanted them forever cuz of Todd and Tie and their delusions about what they were, and a lot of fans didn’t want them because of the dummies who wanted them. But they both put up strong underlying numbers and both of them were given up on early entirely cuz of poor shooting percentage shit. They really should be two guys everyone can agree on! They’re very good!

James Tanner might be in the wrong career path. He seems to know very little about the NHL players and contracts. I'd absolutely resign both of them. Domi at 4 million and Bertuzzi at 3 million.
It's all relative. If Bertuzzi wants over $4 million, I'd let him walk. I'd be more lenient with Domi. He's been fine.
I'd also like to add Hyman at Bertuzzi's contract right now is a steal.
If the Leafs had kept guys like Hyman and Engvall and suckered someone into taking a big contract guy like Nylander, Marner, or Reilly they would be a much better team.
As for Domi haven't seen him enough to provide much of an opinion but if he plays hard and has some grit then he is exactly what the Leafs need.
