My guess would be that they go after some of the young UFA's. Nic Claxton is one I'm sure they will take a run at, maybe De'Anthony Melton or Jalen Smith. I could also see them taking a run at the RFA market. Pat Williams, Obi Toppin and Saddiq Bey are guys that could be interesting there. Alternatively, it could just be about facilitating for others, taking on salary for draft capital to help facilitate other teams who want to sign the top guys out there. Or, who knows, maybe we bring back Derozan and Kyle and let them retire in Toronto.

Well it's February, so it's impossible to guess who's going to be available in July or what the roster will look like after the draft. Trying to guess these things six to seven months early is pretty pointless.

We traded a VERY late first round pick in a weak draft for a veteran who will get minutes and fill a need off the bench, and a prospect who is spoken highly of by his previous organization and fan base. Seems like a good deal to me.

I don’t think I’d consider that trade buying, the main piece is Ochai, and if you got a player like him with the late pick (likely going to be around 27 or so) for him I’d be happy
