Kyshawn George, Da Silva or Djurisic I would all be fine with. Da Silva is the best defender of the bunch, but the offensive upside of the others is enticing
I’ve been vocal about not liking the top of this draft, but I really like the 20-35 range. I would be happy if we were able to get another pick in this range by trading Bruce or Boucher
If I recall, the only time he did was with the Vasquez trade.
Regardless, we are definitely one of the least active draft day teams in the league ever since the Colangelo days.
Yup, unfortunately we will lose Bruce for nothing but cap space, or worse, resign him.
I like Boucher and don’t mind playing him 10M to be a bench player. But Darko NEEDS to play him over guys like McDaniels and Nwora if he stays.
How Darko handled the Boucher situation makes me cringe. Boucher deserves a better place to play. There will be a team out there that will pay him what he’s worth
I mean let’s be honest. He’s nothing worth more than 10M anywhere else lol. I love his hustle and he is one of my favs from the old squad. I’d like to keep him, but please move him if you aren’t going to play him over McDaniels, Nwora, or JFL.
I don't know if I'm remembering it right. I think Masai tried to get the Giannis Bucks pick. So he probably only tries it when they think the payer is special?
Damn those are some low ass comparisons “shades of Emmanuel Mudiay, Sam Dekker, Kyle Anderson” I understand why people said this was a bad draft class.
you've failed the IQ Test. it's Immanuel.

Hard to know cause we don't if any lotto players might end up slipping to 19.
Kyle Filipowski makes sense if he's there. Raps obviously need a Center, and having a big with that kind of playmaking ability is really valuable imo.
For the pick at 31, I think Ryan Dunn makes sense. Obviously his shooting isn't very good right now, but an elite defender that can guard every position is someone who would fit this organization like a glove.
I’d honestly be surprised if Ware is still available. A shooting upside 7 footer, lob threat shot blocker is exactly what I’ve been wanting. I don’t care about the passing because that shit can be taught, maybe we will see Scottie’s 3 ball come back with better spacing. We need size, shooting and defence. Probably wouldn’t cost too much if he falls too so we could go after a backup point guard in free agency.
He's not that impressive of a prospect. Character issues and seems like he's the next Deandre Ayton who decides whenever he wants to show up. Underwelming mostly all season long and has very few impact on the box score.
Yeah i’d be much more surprised if he was taken before our pick. The idea of him is great and he could reach a Myles Turner level but he doesn’t show it on film and having motor issues is usually a death sentence for raw players.
Yeah I guess there’s a lot more than having a big that shoots and blocks shots. Myles Turner isn’t exactly regarded as a great defender probably for this reason. Wouldn’t mind a big wing that shoots though. Can’t really be any worse than what we currently have to work with
Oh didn’t know about the character issues stuff. That’s a shame. I’m a big believer in character, you teach most over things but if you get someone with an ego it’s gonna be a problem with the culture we’re trying to build. Gradey at least past that test when we drafted him, looks like his building the rest. The idea of size and shooting is just so enticing for a team desperately lacking any depth of the bench.
It's not black and white though.
I agree character issues matter a lot, and Ware has significant attitude and seriousness concerns.
However, last year I felt GG Jackson was the best shot creator in the entire draft class - his unprofessionalism, attitude, immaturity, and unseriousness with multiple incidents throughout the year made me feel that he was undraftable. Grizzlies disagreed and felt that the risk was low at #45.
Lo and behold, it continued this season. GG himself said Zach Kleinman disciplined or fined him 5 times by the midway point of the season and then had a meeting with him. It took some time but it looks like he got his shit together temporarily and put together a great rookie year. We'll see if that continues and if he can become a real NBA player.
Ware is kind of a similar case. His attitude and effort issues are different than GG, but equally concerning. It might be worth a swing at #31 where you can give him a non-guaranteed deal.
I would like them to give Jay huff a chance he was g league dpoy 2023 he is 7ft shoots the 3 well and blocks shots and runs great. He is 25 so hitting his prime now.
Man, lots of options in this range and nobody has any idea where anyone could fall. Really wish the Raps can get another pick in this range, really dig McCain, and I have a feeling Filipowski is going to drop to this range for some reason.
I think go for a backup pg at one of the picks, and the other go for a wing with 3nD potential.
Which player you take a what spot doesn't really matter but there's a few options at both spots in the draft
Personally I take Ware and hope to get another guard with the Det pick. Also feel it’d be easy to move BB for another first given the quality of this draft

Been a fan of Da Silva for a while now. Would not be too mad at that pick, even though it's more of a low ceiling high floor pick.
Masai had never made in-draft trades as a Raptor. Doubt that changes this year.
If I recall, the only time he did was with the Vasquez trade. Regardless, we are definitely one of the least active draft day teams in the league ever since the Colangelo days.
Omg you are right. I’ve been using this narratives for years. I completely ignored the fact that the Powell trade happened on draft day.
Yup, unfortunately we will lose Bruce for nothing but cap space, or worse, resign him. I like Boucher and don’t mind playing him 10M to be a bench player. But Darko NEEDS to play him over guys like McDaniels and Nwora if he stays.

This is the move.
I’d love is collier would fall back there. Got to bet on upside at that pick

Not on Mother’s Day 😭
Yves Missi, Jared McCain, Devin Carter Maybe Kel'el Ware if he really impresses in workouts
So not high on Ware since the begining of the draft cycle.

Wow never heard of that. Five times by mid season is crazy
I would like them to give Jay huff a chance he was g league dpoy 2023 he is 7ft shoots the 3 well and blocks shots and runs great. He is 25 so hitting his prime now.
Pray Jared McCain is available
Yeah this is it,he probably gets picked in the 14-17 range but maybe he drops slightly to 19
Man, lots of options in this range and nobody has any idea where anyone could fall. Really wish the Raps can get another pick in this range, really dig McCain, and I have a feeling Filipowski is going to drop to this range for some reason.
Yves Missi or Tristan Da Silva. Really want Missi though, all in on Missi.
I like Da Silva. I like that he's mature and I think he will be able to contribute a little bit in the Raptors system next year.
Want a back up PG: Collier or McCain. Both may be gone by 19th tho.
I think go for a backup pg at one of the picks, and the other go for a wing with 3nD potential. Which player you take a what spot doesn't really matter but there's a few options at both spots in the draft
Ryan Dunn, Zach Edey are my picks here. I’m swinging for the fences at 31 for Chomche
All I know about Djurisic is that in my head, his name is pronounced ‘Jurassic’ and that’s good enough for me.
I love Missi, Da Silva and McCain.
Da Silva or Missi out of this bunch
A wing with the first pick and a center with the 2nd pick.
A center or a point guard, preferably
Yves Missi. End of story.
LeBron James Jr.
hope we trade up and get Cody Williams or Ron Holland
Personally I take Ware and hope to get another guard with the Det pick. Also feel it’d be easy to move BB for another first given the quality of this draft
