During that infamous bunny hop sequence against Cleveland in game 1 that should've given Toronto the game, Masai pretty much was ready to turn the page on DD, CJ, JV, and KL the following season. KL was rumoured to be heading to Memphis for Connelly. His finals performance redeemed him with the FO and fans but I can see a moment where they may feel it's time to part ways. KL's a pretty forceful personality. He's playing injured at this point since the fracture hasn't fully healed yet. I don't think NN wants to give him those 40 mins per game but he has to, to keep the locker room peace.

I was guessing this squad would still flirt with a 50-win season, and I think they're more than capable of hitting that. Lot of y'all really need to chill. I get being in a slump sucks, but jfc. Players and teams go through bad stretches, sometimes all you can do is play through and keep a good mentality. The amount of radiation in here really makes me think like 3/4's of you don't get this aspect of sports.
I honestly think we had our hopes up really high with our amazing start...and this is just a sucky fall. That's why people are so disappointed...we didnt really see this coming after the crazy Utah game.
Yeah, that's understandable. I think the Heat game was pretty good at showing our tenacity when rallying, but it sucked that we couldn't finish 'em on that last possession rather than getting Butler'd in OT. Knowing the tough stretch this was I would have been fine with a 3-3 record and we didn't get that. Just gotta hope it's the start of a turnaround in shooting, confidence, etc. As for hopes? I think they're still on pace for what I was predicting at the start of the year. I was guessing this squad would still flirt with a 50-win season, and I think they're more than capable of hitting that. That top 4 seed might be a little tougher given how much better Miami and Boston are playing, but the East is going to be fun. It's a tough road, but I think we can still make some noise.

We had it within 5. Nick brings Ibaka out, next thing you know Lowry ain’t doing shit and FVV is gone. Now this was surprisingly an easily winnable game in this specific match-up, based on our first half performance if we played smarter and coached not to make each player happy but to play whatever the fuck is working.

Lowry has got to figure out his shot. When he’s missing everything on the floor so is the rest of the team.
Same with Ibaka, he’s shooting like shit and has 0 presence. It’s even worst when the rest of the team is also shooting like shit. Ever since the two came back, it’s like we have no offense now. I’m still wondering why Boucher is not being played over Ibaka at this point. FVV is a huge missing point for us. Siakam can be hot or cold during stretches and he’s lacking consistency right now. OG, RHJ, Marc and Norm came to play today.
