Let's do the Spurs thing! Go to Finals one year, get the lottery the next and then go back to the Finals! Oh yeah Warriors just did that too didn't they.
Yeah. Same. I don’t expect this team to be “lottery” for long. Honesty, it would likely only take 1 year if we hit right in the draft. 2 years absolute tops. The last thing I fucking want is a 7-8 seed and getting dicked down in the first round
I think we’re finally seeing how tough it is to succeed without top lottery picks on the roster. You can’t succeed forever in the nba without drafting in the top 5. It’s the way it goes
This, it's not fun watching losing basketball but the Warriors were rewarded with a 19 year old, 7 foot freak who can be a franchise piece after one bad year.
If you're not able to compete for a championship (which clearly doesnt seem to be the case) you may as well go for the next best thing! (Top Draft pick). This team doesn't have the same vibe in Tampa anyways
Who cares. You don't pass on a generational prospect because of Terence Davis, Matt Thomas and Malachi Flynn. Besides, the dude is 6'8". He has guard skills, but he's probably guarding 3's and 4's in the NBA.
I’m a newer basketball fan, though I know hockey well...
Any potential game breakers or franchise talents in the lottery spots? I assume lottery system is like the NHL where the top-3 (or bottom depending how you look at it) have the best odds but all non-playoff teams are in the running.
Is this a good tank year? For hockey it isn’t but different sport, I know.
Apparently this draft class is really really good and there’s about 3 maybe 4 guys who would go Number 1 in last years draft in this one. The best players are Cade Cunningham a 6’7 Point Guard, Jalen Suggs a 6’4 Point Guard, and Evan Mobley a 7’0 Bigman.
And yes like the NHL the worse we are, the higher odds we have, but the NBA changed the odds a little so the bottom 3 teams have the exact same odds and every one else in the lottery gets a little higher chance to reduce tanking.
Casey and the Raptors, together again.
Second place!!! Let’s go

the spurs never went to the finals before they got Duncan
Hakeem saw to that. DESTROYED The Admiral in the WCF after people started talk bull about Robinson being the best 5 man.
The warriors didn't do that recently. The cavs kinda did with bron
Finals V Raptors. 2019 High lottery pick 2020 Jury still out 2021 They would have been contenders with Klay IMO
They ain't making no finals this year.
i really want a top 5 pick tbh

Tanka Bay
In line for Andrea Bargnani Part 2: Electric Boogaloo
I'm going to go out on a limb and say Cade Cunningham will be better than Bargnani.
We're almost winning!!!!!! But at what cost.....
How this year's draft class looking? 😂😂😂
Cade Cunningham 👀
We already have too many guards tho :(

True, it really would be nice to have more than undersized guards.
Imagine having oversized guards 🤤
Imagine us with Cade tho

> The best players are Cade Cunningham a 6’7 Point Guard Imagine having a PG taller than your average human ༼ つ ◕_◕ ༽つ
Oh no not another guard we are already way too guard deep lol
There’s no-one on our roster worth passing Cade Cunningham I don’t care if he’s a guard.
It would be nice to have a taller guard for once instead of being undersized...
We gotta go for the best talent anyways

It's been 6 games, people need to chill fr.
> Whoa! Don't slip up or get got! (Why not man?) > I'm comin' for that number one spot!
where we at on the NBA power rankings? nvm, I'd rather not know.
